The first alarm went off as CL (yes, I’m not gonna keep calling him Coming Later ) arrived at the control room. The bombs were in place. It had taken him a while to set them all, but he had been lucky, and the ISB had taken a while to detect his misdemeanor. They would soon find they were too late. CL was no hero. He had joined with the intention of staying quiet, letting the world flow around him, and rise. But that hadn’t worked out. So he had ended up here. CL tried to keep his breathing calm as he slid his key card into the door’s scanner. It hesitated a second, then blinked green. Thank goodness. They hadn’t locked him out of the system yet. The doors slid open, revealing a panel of desperate officers trying to find the cause of the chaos. One young man in a black suit and tight helmet turned to look at him, sweat dribbling down his cheek. He didn’t have time to react before a bullet was buried in his head, and his helmet stained with red. One. CL had defected long before Cal found him – the manifesto had done it. But he had never done anything. He had only waited, until the deaths began and the first messages came. CL wasn’t the original Friendly Neighborhood ISB Traitor. But he had adopted that role, sending the next message and, at last, being found by Axis. It had all happened so quickly. Two days, and he was a rebel. Now he didn’t expect to last two more. As soon as the shot rang out, the room erupted into chaos. An older supervisor reached for his gun, but CL moved faster, shifting his aim with deadly precision to take him out. Two. CL flinched from the sound, but didn’t break composure, waving the gun around the room. “Anyone else?!” The only sound in the room was his crazed panting, and the blaring of the alarms outside. The remaining officers all stood beside their chairs, arms in the air. He didn’t like the way they looked at him, and, for a second, considered killing another. Then he realized they were waiting. “Everybody out!” Surprisingly, they all listened, streaming out of the room. As soon as the last person was gone, he shut the doors closed and ran over to the control panel to lock them. They shut with a subtle click. No one, regardless of station, would be able to open them without force now. Heart racing from the adrenaline, CL stumbled over to the comms and began to set them up. As he made his way, his eyes lingered for a second on the cameras of the plaza, that showed Johnny and DRN gearing up for their duel. It was a ridiculous gambit, but perhaps... perhaps that just might work. Then the first bomb went off. It had been set in the east wing, and detonated exactly ten minutes after its planting. Through the cameras, CL could see the explosion. And he could see the chaos that ensued in the courtyard. He tore his eyes away from it. He had no time to delay. They were coming for him. They were coming... there. CL flipped the final switch, and activated the speakers in the entire complex. For a moment, he waited, heart racing. Then he took a deep breath, and began to speak. "I am not your friendly neighborhood ISB traitor. Because I am no longer friendly.” The words came naturally to him. He didn’t think about what he was saying, but he believed it. Because it felt right. “We have waited long enough. This is our final warning. The Empire is cracking. Every day, it breaks a little further. For twenty years, it has maintained its rule, oppressing us with cages of fear and walls of injustice.” In the west wing, the second bomb went off, and the chaos increased even further. But CL didn’t stop. “But we can see through the bars now, and those walls are beginning to fall. Every day, there are more of us who can see past the veil. Who have the courage to stand, and fight. Because we understand.” In the corner of CL’s eye, motion caught his attention. Stormtroopers. They were running towards him. “This was never about our fear. It was about yours. The hammer of the Empire is so strong because it is fueled by a primal terror that can never be wiped away, never pushed out of view. No matter how hard you try, it will always be there. The knowledge that the day will come when your cages snap, your walls come crashing down, and nothing will save you. That one day the oppressed will rise up, and everything you have fought so hard for will turn on you. And there will be nothing that can save you.” The third bomb went off. North Tower. “We Herald that day. We prepare for it, to bring it into the light. We herald our salvation, and your damnation.” The soldiers turned a corner, and CL could hear their footsteps in the corridor over the alarm. They were setting something up... a bomb. His pace quickened, and his shirt and face were soaked. He glanced at the gun on his left, then kept talking. “This is our message: Fear. Fear, because we will not be stopped. We will not be silenced.” Bang. The final bomb went off at the complex gates, separating the ISB from civilians. Chip by chip, the wall crumbled, until no barrier was left standing. Bang. The bomb in the corridor went off, and the door blew off its hinges. CL shut his eyes, knowing the fate that awaited him but not prepared to face it. Everything inside of him raged. But his final line was calm. In an ocean of destruction, serene. “We are Axis, and we will make your world burn.” -

I can't deny that. You are entirely correct. And if I were you, I too would be frustrated. But, in my situation, right now, this is the truth: I have done nothing in terms of solving. And I do not intend to change that. For me, solving means analysis posts. If you want to know what my vibe reads are, then this is what I've got: I like Kas, because of something he said in a PM that I'd rather not disclose to the public. I like Newt, because she's a relatively new player putting in a lot of work and seems genuine. Twin is weird, but he's working. Everyone else I'm kind of neutral on. I'm not trying to solve; I'm trying to float around, have fun, and hopefully help the ISB a little while I'm around. That's all I can give you right now. It's a very different playstyle than I normally do, but right now, it's what feels right. Can you give any examples of me dodging game-related questions? Because I'd be happy to answer them, in line with my current policy Guys I'm pretty sure that was a joke... -

What I meant was I used my medic ability on myself. Not Fura. Not anyone else. Me, because I was scared the rebels would see me as a threat. In hindsight, it's not the obvious move I saw it as. I swear if that thing kills me At first glance, I like this form of analysis a lot, although it seems to break down the more one looks at it and realizes it's all based off assumptions But then again, I'm not really one to talk sooo... I like this I like this a lot Worth mentioning, though, that last game me and Jo where elim together and were pretty consistently vehemently against each other in thread and yet still won Aww thanks Yeah I have no intention of making any real analysis. These little quips take up too much time already As for the staying alive, regardless of what alignment I am, regardless of my activity levels, do not expect me to go down without quietly Alright a bit more serious post I understand everyone's concerns about my activity, and I get them I sincerely do And yes, you guys deserve better. But trust me, please, my activity has nothing to do with my alignment Yes, it's pretty different from Hoid Slayer in previous games. Because Hoid Slayer in previous games killed himself analyzing. And I don't want to do that. I'm sorry. But not this time. If you want to analyze my elim play, check out this game: I was very active, and it was brutal I don't want to go through that this time Kill me if you will But do not do so because of factors I cannot control -

I’d love to, Kas, but my school bus is literally rolling into the school right now For what it’s worth, I too received a dead drop, and didn’t save Fura cause I was busy saving my own skin -
* STRAY DOG But I guess start god works too *smiles wistfully* You did it, guys This all cause of you You created an environment that has helped more than 36 people - probably more than 50 You created a community That’s pretty incredible, if I do say so myself (I’m not crying, you’re crying) Not a disturbance at all I actually feel like I’ve seen that teeny grown around at some point somewhere else in the Shard - probably from you I’m glad we were able to bring some life back to you
