Well, as far as I know, he hasn't sensed Rysn's dawnshard either. Granted, I don't recall him ever focusing on her the way he did on Hoid. Maybe he just can't sense the dawnshards or something.

It seems to me that a recurring theme in the stomlight archive is that it is not worth it to kill one person to save two people. I love the storm light archive and do like a lot of the little "morals of the story", so to speak. But. I'm not picking up on the logic. It's like that one riddle/question/whatever where you have three children and must choose one to die or one to save. If multiple people's lives are at stake, then it seems worth it to take one life to save the rest. I mean, seriously. You have to kill this single person or everyone you ever knew besides them will immediately die. How is it, in any way, moral to refrain from killing one innocent when it will save ten innocents? Aren't you effectively killing ten instead of one? Please help me its keeping me up at night

The spren occasionally described as slivers of Honor (at least some of them I havn't looked deeply into it) and above the beginning of one of the chapters of Wind and Truth, it says that spren are not as common as the once were. So I'm thinking that the reason for this might be when someone ascends to Honor somewhere in the book, the power spread as spren throughout roshar will be reclaimed into the shard of Honor, and only some will be left. Or something like that?? Also, separate question, but are the Seons the remnants of Dominion and Devotion? Like, is there a similar thing going on where they were there before, but more were created after the splintering of the Shards on their world?

Does Jasnah's shadow behaving the same (if only for a short time) have something to do with Elsecalling or is it maybe related to Axis' shadow?. If Jasnah's misbehaving shadow isn't related to Elsecalling could it have some connection to the illness/psychosis/whatever it was referenced in the released chapters of Wind and Truth?

Stormlight Archives (4 books, 2 novellas, released WAT chapters), Mistborn Era 1 and 2, the four secret projects, Elantris, Skyward series, Reckoners series, Alcatraz series, Rithmatist, warbreaker, arcanum unbounded, firstborn, perfect state, some other short stories I don't remember the names of, way of kings prime... eagerly awaiting next Monday when the next chapters of WAT will be released. I wish I had the willpower to wait until the whole thing was out.

A little late introducing myself... but why not. I'm bored. I am an avid Sanderson fan in a family of... um... not Sanderson fans. I'm joining to interact with people who know what I'm talking about, count the shard members with names referencing Shallan's stick, and read theories I would never have thought of and usually promptly forget.

It has been changed from its original title to Wind and Truth, which I have nothing against as a title... but it BROKE the ketek!!! I know its a small thing but... it was 14 years coming... I NEEDED that closure... I'm going to go cry now.
