  1. Nick Cage. If you think its a bad cast you don't watch enough Nick Cage.
  2. I feel like I'd be a piece of rust and make my phrase something nobody would ever think to use. That is, if the goal is secrecy. If the goal isn't secrecy, then I'd choose something that I have in mind that I can easily recall. Something thst reminds me of home. "Blackwood Wattle, uprooted by wind."
  3. Right fair enough, but. With a 10 day time limit for everything to go down I just... I feel it in my gut that Shallan and Adolin are going to be heading back to Urithiru as soon as possible. If they don't go to Urithiru then the only other direction I see them going is Kelek having a guilt induced breakdown and trying to drag them off to get B.A.M. and set her free. I am not a smart man, but I just... nah. They won't stay in Lasting Integrity. That would make the story feel like they're spinning wheels without getting things done. I am a big brain Stoneward and refuse to explain it. My gut vibe says I'm right.
  4. Todiums champion IS the loophole? I'm bit sure what you mean.
  5. Piggybacking off your points about returning to the tower, mostly. Shallan and Adolins mission is done, they're not citizens out for a leisurely vacation, they're diplomats who've accomplished their appointed task and need to return home to report it. Moreover, from their perspective the need for Windrunners is somewhat urgent because there's an active desolation. If I were as smart as Shallan thinks she is, I'd gather up every Honorspren willing and take them straight to Urithiru to bond potentials.
  6. Win or lose Odium is bound to the Rosharan system. 1000 years is rust to him, but let's consider that he sees a loophole. I think it would be cheap, and not my read on Sandersons style to have the loophole be some hidden clause in the contract that we as readers have not seen. Thus, I admit I assume that we can see the loophole in front of us already. I see three potential weaknesses in the terms Dalinar and Odium agreed to, the third of which is the one I believe is the loophole. 1. Child Champion, or really any opponent Dalinars champion refuses to kill. This doesn't actually break the contract it just means Odiums champion wins because Odium can inflame murderous rage in his champion and take the win. Not a true loophole IMO. 2. Grant immortality to both champions. This stretches the fight into infinity and makes it a null result, potentially just as bad as Odium being eternally bound. Though I do like the idea of two opponents locked in an infinite clash while Stormlight Era 2 happens. 3. Should Odium wins Dalinar is in his service. Odium can wick away the pain of his servants, but what if he doesn't? What if he orders Dalinar to do something so heinous thst Dalinar refuses, and that counts as breaking the contract, therefore breaking Odiums bond to the Rosharan system? Yes, Odium is bound to his agreement but he can also make it difficult for people to uphold their agreements to him. Branderson has said that Stormlight is Dalinars story, and I am hedging my bets that Stormlight 6 begins with Dalinar breaking like the old Heralds. And that'll be his lowest point. You might say Dalinars lowest point was in Oathbringer, I say Dalinars can't have been at his lowest because Odium was trying to tempt him, that was Dalinar at his highest. "You cannot have my pain." Is not something a broken man would have declared
  7. Given the apparent size of Rosharans im putting money on Shaq sized Bridge 4. Except The Lopen, he comes out the size of Andre The Giant.
  8. I should clarify again, this isn't what I 100% believe will happen. This is my attempt at making the Darkest Timeline for Roshar that isn't blatantly "rocks fall, everyone dies." I would agree Odium using Yelig Nar as a champion is contingent on Yelig Nar being usable. However we've not seen an on screen death for Yelig Nar, only it's host. And I subscribe to the storytelling rule that if you don't see a body, they're not dead. Again, Darkest Timeline. The Ghostbloods are King Sociopaths Cool Kids Club, for starters. Moreover from their perspective they're standing over these early industrial Rosharans dropping rocks. I would argue it's not much of a risk for them to attack Shallan and her loved ones even now. In fact, assuming Wind and Truth doesnt skip Shallans trip back to Urithiru, I would assume some kind of attack is made before Shallan is out of Shadesmar.
  9. Allow me to justify. What sounds like a better champion, bondsmith with no shards, or a warrior trained on and armed with all ten surges? As for El? Eh. It was just a vibe for me. I do think Todium is dumb if he doesn't make his champion swallow Yelig Nar though.
  10. The four letter ones usually work fine for me. Hey now, it was 2002, people could get away with evil back then.
  11. So I'm thinking if Stormlight heals you based on your self image then there should be no upper limit to how muscular a Knight Radiant can get. I'm talking straight meat diesel. Here's my case in point: the pump. When your muscles are having a pump you experience a feeling of... euphoria. And your muscles look physically bigger because they're swollen and flooded with blood. With this in mind, we can assume that anyone with Stormlight Healing could get catastrophically storming huge. Here's how we do it. Kaladin and the boys suck down a load of stormlight and rock up to the gym. They then work out till they hit a pump and stare at themselves shirtless while the euphoric feeling of the pump brainwashes them into thinking they actually look like this. Stormlight healing reinforces their self image and it doesn't have to actually do all that much work because their muscles are already that big. Rinse and repeat. It goes without saying this would work best on The Lopen. Within the week we have to give Bridge Four new names. Kaladin Stormblessed - Kaladin Swoleblessed Rock - Block Teft - Chest The Lopen - The Yokeden Skar - Bar Sigzyl - Squatzyl Dabbid - Lattib Drehy - Wheyhy
  12. You would hope so, wouldn't you? Nah. We were like 7 or 8, we didn't know he couldn't do that.
  13. So this is somewhat vague based on what universe I'm a wizard in. Are we going by Elder Scrolls wizardry rules? If so, tonal architecture. The idea that certain sound waves have a magical effect on the world, even something surface level as the Thu'um is compelling to me. But Dwemer style tonal architecture is what I'm thinking. Are we going by DnD rules? Conjuration because summoming items is still OP. Is just a four elements system? Then wind, because then my wizard staff could have a wind vane on top. Glad to he here. Well, given the current state of Roshar that's a hard pass for me. Given the state of Roshar before the Everstorm? Shinovar. I know it's the boring answer, but I very much like the idea of a society where people who make a career of actually developing and creating are venerated where those who destroy things are seen as a necessary evil, but still evil. Depends. If it's one of those brownie cookie combos that can't decide what it is I'm gonna Ron Swanson trying vegan bacon that thing. Mild trauma associated with them. When I was a child I witnessed a teacher full fist punch a small girl for eating tic tacs in class. Not a joke. But beyond that they're pretty good. Bagels to me are just toast that's too big, I tend to avoid them. Sorry to be a downer.
