    The men gasped, falling to the ground. They slowly pick themselves up, shaken. The Duke immediately unengaged, letting himself get hit by a fireball, falling, and then fleeing stealthily under the cover of the dust, into his emergency exit.

It should take two or three more minutes for Pyk to recover.] Pyk was finally able to blink. It felt… weird. He twitched a finger. Some objects around him began to float slightly. A single, tiny Strand peeked through the now almost open door. It dissipated before it could get through, though. [You will need to get as much of that as possible before the Strands get that wide enough to get past the Adari barrier. You don’t have much time.] @Ookla the Bacon What else would I do? Wriulin was always who guided my choices. Tenth genuinely didn’t know. He knew of other things… but… not what they were.

He just needs to regain the ability to move, as he will be using the Casts to move instead of his muscles.] From the monitor, a Husk (that's what I call them right now) saw their locked-up research center. It turned its head curiously, and a wave of Strands pulsed towards it. The wall groaned under the force of the Strands.

    IT SHOULD BE INSTINCTIVE! And plus, you can take those hits. The soldier hesitated, then spoke. "Maybe..." A fervor enters his eyes. "I could do it." Freedom grins. "There we go!"

    lol. This is what happened to Dint canonically, and no one knew he had turned into a Mystic. [He is... sort of dead. The philosophers could never agree on what happens when a Mystic dies. It... it's complicated. Basically, he leaves behind an imprint of himself of Mystic power. The power, sensing his absence, takes control of his body and grows significantly in aptitude.] Pyk felt the pain of the blade, and everything blacked out. Slowly, he regained his "sight", but he found it incredibly difficult to move. Incredibly difficult, as if his body had forgotten how to do it.

There is one way to make yourself much stronger with their powers... but it is unpleasant.] Pyk paused for a moment, created a faint purple cloud, and then looked at Asher. "I need you to look over my body while the power recuperates." He hesitantly took his sword, and he stabbed himself in the chest with it. He didn't bleed.

    The soldier gave a hesitant smile, and relayed the message to the Duke, through Intellect. "He knows. He is asking how you want to go about doing it" A contingent of soldiers burst into the throne room, with holes in their chest. These holes held infernos. One raised a hand, and flame darted towards the man, who was feeling extremely strengthened.

    "There aren't many... and most of them are in the building. That will not be how we find a Mystic." He looked weariedly at the blue-purple powder, then took a handful, and swallowed it. I finally pegged a name for the dragonblood stuff! "Adari" (It means reality breaker in various languages that I've forgotten) Blue sniffed. "They will suffice." He coughed, gagged, and threw up two small worm things, which he promptly ate again. I... I don't know. I've... I've never had to think about what to do. It was always following directions.
