  1. YOU SHOULD JOIN TLT YOU CAN JOIN MY ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE PLOT
  2. Maybe it's worth a try, but... you must weaken his Thread first.
  3. Tenth looked down. Who was he? Wriulin had always been quick with an answer, quick to assure him and his fellow Testers that they had purpose. That they were working for the good of the world. But... He had never even known what that... good... was. What was the point of those suits he had endlessly tested? He looked at his hands. What was the difference he had made? How had his testing changed lives? Heyheyhey! Must I tell you of Hasratha? And Wriulin, the Ruler of the Hasrathans. And Drin. These were even before the blue-purple fog!
  4. A golden tendril? Hmmmmmm I claim copyright. Sorry. I’ve kinda dumped my book lore upon you… Imma give a spoiler as well as a “too long didn’t read.” A Husk is what happens when someone who can command the Strands dies. They become infinitely more powerful with the Strands and are controlled by the Strands, they no longer have free will, they only seek to destroy. The dust cancels out a small area of the Strands, and Pyk gains that much ground. It is just enough for Pyk to envelope the Husk in the Casts, and for him to win. Gasping from exertion, he thanks Asher.
  5. Fiction is the way to go!
  6. Twist it inwards. Fill him with hatred for himself.
  7. My TLT is always interesting *huff* *coughing fit* Right now, my character is desperately staving of a zombie apocalypse.
  8. Let me hear it, then. @oOklA thE shInyYyy Intellect thinks that if you twisted his hatred, you may be able to use it against him.
  9. Well, have you *cough cough* ever heard of a man name Talaman? Sometimes called Talaman of Chains… well, he was getting pretty close to ruling the world. So he sent a person to get rid of *cough* me and my personas, right? And I easily kicked that person, but he angered itirSp. So I spent three years in itirSp’s stomach. I’m afraid not. *fit of coughing.*
  10. Intellect came to attention. You have an idea? Mirth may have a way, but we need everything we can send at him… it.
  11. Granddaughter, have I ever told of the time I almost died?
  12. The one beggar in edgedancer?
  13. He sent a blast of flame towards his feet. His core had long since gone out… but his strength was still constant. She could almost tell that Intellect was conversing with another Spirit.
  14. If you try to change his emotions, it won’t matter. He is incapable of feeling anything but Rage. Although, maybe you could exploit his dependence on Rage… I’ll have to talk to Intellect…
  15. Shayd blinked. “Okay…”
  16. Another soldier, prone on the ground, gave a cry of fear, and a pulse of flame extended from him. Retlen looked down at his feet, snarling. “HERETIC!” His voice carried unnaturally well, and the dust cleared slightly between the two of them. @oOklA thE shInyYyy The table blocked it, but was quickly incinerated. Your powers will not be nearly as effective against him! He serves Madness, though unknown to him… so she can afford him certain gifts that are beyond our abilities. Not necessarily good gifts, but gifts that help further Madness’ goals. @Ookla the Inquisitive ”I cannot leave him… his Thread is too strong to be cut.”
  17. Retlen gave a guttural scream, and a wave of flame bathed the room, and a few of those who were about to Snap away were shortly sustained, only to disappear.
  18. He picked off about half of them. Retlen sent a blast of flame his way.
  19. Lol… I may or may not have made Pyk the Mystic equivalent to a Husk. (They aren’t evil, and they keep their brain as well, tho) Pyk struggled against the Strands, shouting a curt command to Asher. “Throw as much Adari at it as possible!” Throwing forth another hand, he attempted to slow time for the beast. Its Strands cancelled it out, but the air there seemed to twist. {That… don’t put your hand there. It won’t come out quite the same.}
  20. They ones running around crumpled to the ground, despairing on top of their hatred. The shots flickered out their cores, and when those disappeared, their skin started to lacerate, they began to rapidly become less and less nourished. And they shrunk, until finally they snapped out of existence. Rage must have abandoned them. I know no attack that can do that.
  21. The dust cancelled out the Strand, but another took its place, and the door was ripped open. [Wait.] The Husk burst through the door, a mess of glowing yellow Strands darting for the two of them. Pyk finally gained complete control of his body. Guided by his AI, he extended a hand, and a blue-purple fog rose from it towards the Husk, meeting and canceling the Strands. Around him, the Adari dust rose and approached the Husk. The two of them were locked into combat, neither able to get an advantage over the other. But the Adari dust was approaching the Husk. Tenth looked down, and repeated an earlier statement. I don’t know.
  22. The flintlock didn’t do much, but the emotions threw them into chaos, running around. The dust from Cole didn’t help them either, as they ran into each other. Shoot the fire in the center of their chest… Not many heard him in their panic. But one was unaffected. Retlen. Retlen looked up at his dead father. A flame made its way out of his chest. “You did it. He is dead.” It said. But he was not done. The heretics… he could not pardon them when they participated in such obvious witchcraft. He took a deep breath, and sent a blast of flame at Cole. Freedom spoke, slightly frantically. “He’s not listening. He will kill you, if given the chance. Do not give him the chance, then.”
  23. Imma need to leave again soon… I have piano lessons… Pyk raised and arm, struggling to pick himself up. He fell again, but it didn’t hurt. His skin started to take on a blue purple cast. [Not much longer… he is recovering surprisingly quickly.] A single Strand finds its way through the barrier, feeling its way around the room slowly. [I don’t think the Strands can actually see… only their host.]
