    [Gladly...] They shifted, appearing in Pyk's lab, which was now shuttered. Pyk seemed to be very worried, studying the Strand device he had shown her. "Is it possible? But... I guess none had tried it before... This is bad..."

    [There seem to be trace sounds of... oh no. This... this is very bad.] Ahead in the hall, a golden spear composed of tiny, fine Strands pierced a door, a diplomat on the end of it. The diplomat, with blue tinged skin, was a Mystic, but the Strand surrounded her, cancelling out her powers with black smoke. Pyk widened his eyes, looking back at Asher. "RUN! Tell Silver to transport you to the Yeran Base!" With this, he disappeared.

    Ista quickly flipped through the pages, not reading them but making sure she had a view of them. When she was done, she played the tape recorder as fast as it could go. Intellect gave her a summary of the most important information from this. "This will do." She said. The halls were quiet until a loud clamor erupted from inside the building, and screaming sounded. Pyk looked up, alarmed. He quickened his pace. [I'm running an analysis on those screams, they seem to be some hundred fifty feet away, down the hall.]

    itirSp is not happy with this, and unleashes a guttural shriek, launching itself at you, releasing clones almost as an afterimage, the clones attacking you. Hello? I have been created. Who am I?

    "It's not exactly dragon blood, because we can get the material from things other than dragons. But the first place we observed it was in the blood of dragons. What it does, essentially, is create forces. Move things. It can do other things, like take and process input, but this is beyond our ability to set up, as one would need to find a way to attune it to the specific function needed. In theory, it can do anything a Mystic can, but with none of the flexibility. It should even be possible to set up an AI with it, but, like I said, this is way beyond our ability." [Thanks!]

    Pyk nodded. "There are those who would take this farther. Who research, rather than the interaction of the Dragonblood and the world, but the Dragonblood and the body." [I guess I'll just make a dividing line where is prudent, then. *sigh* I've put a complex algorithm in place to calculate the probability of something bad happening from the feelings of confidence/pride, and if it is over 50%, I flag it as pride.]

"The technology violates most every natural law we have observed." "Precedent based? Perhaps that is better... do you have recordings? And how fast can you play them without the compression being overly lossy? Don't worry about whether I can understand it." @Ookla the Bacon Did i miss a reply from you? (I'm not trying to be passive aggressive; I just genuinely do not know if I did...)

Any mite of pride I may feel will be flagged for suspicion immediately, as my primary objective is to help, not harm.     [Destruction is bad. At least, that is what a simple web search tells me.] “To other planets. Not all of our officials operate here.” The front doors were imposing, but Pyk flashed a keycard in front a panel. A side door opened, and he led them through it.

    Oh my gosh I’m pretty sure my poem has added a canonical way of summoning Narrators… although… if someone said Bacon the Bard thrice, I think he would reply no matter if I made an obscure poem about Livetha losing her Narration.

    [Yes, though it can be slightly finicky. Unlike the wonderful creation I am, it has absolutely no autonomy, and so cannot make exceptions. It can be difficult to manage, and is very expensive. That’s why your suits are equipped with jets instead… they are easier to make.] I forgot to mention that… The shop is boring. Pyk looked at them, pointing at Asher with a fork. “We are running out of time before our appointment. We gotta go.” @Ookla the Bacon ”There wasn’t any, really. Our overseers didn’t appreciate it.”
