  1. HoA. Isn't this the… Oh, never mind. Yes, Hero of Ages, ISBN 978-1-250-86831-2.
  2. Wow. I suppose if actually caring about something isn't normal, than I'd rather be like this. Edit: Sorry, that was unnecessarily harsh.
  3. Maybe @oragne just feels pressured and insecure about their reading skills… *cough, cough* @Born of Mist *cough, cough* At least they responded!
  4. Hopefully, I'm not necro-ing, but in the Ars Arcanum, both Aluminum and Duralumin are bolded as pushing metals. On page 575, in the preview chapter, it says (I guess AoL spoilers?):
  5. I loved the Unoathed. I realize that a lot of people don't, but I love the closure. In WoK we hear tons about how dominant Shardbearers are, and I feel like that got overshadowed with the Radiant Plate. The final callback to the raw power of Shard swas beautiful. I probably would have cried except I was too tense. "Taln fought back" was easily in the top three scenes in the Stormlight Archive, especially Ash's line. Nightblood's whole arc was super heartwrenching. And the "Honor is dead, but I'll see what I can do" literally made my jaw drop. Again, I bet I would have been sobbing if I hadn't been so on edge. Final note about the Unoathed (Mistborn Spoilers):
  6. Now this doesn't make sense. Evil people don't have any reason to vote but to be able to kill more people. Anyway, I made that vote at the beginning, when I didn't really have a lot of reads. I actually liked KSOHS's response(s), but that vote would still probably be changed before the end of the cycle. I always do a random vote D1, at least to start out with, because I was in a game where if you didn't vote, your vote was automatically on yourself. It turned into a habit not to end a cycle without voting.
  7. Okay, maybe I'm missing something, but I still don't understand what's going on with your RP, and to be honest, I feel a little suspicious of the refusal to actually vote. I voted KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren because I'm really bad at poke voting, so I just rolled a D10.
  8. You should come back to Sanderson Elimination! I haven't seen you since that first game!

  9. Hi! Welcome to the Shard! So what books by Brandon have you read?
  10. uhhhh... walked down the beach with the other initiates. There were lawbreakers among them? It seemed like Skybreaker Uranihran wasn't taking this seriously. Traitorous thoughts. uhhhh... was worried. He did want to become a Skybreaker. So then why didn't Ur… Skybreaker Uranihran storming do something! There was only one answer. What are you hiding about your past? uhhhh... thought as he stalked along the shore toward the leader. ————— I'm a little suspicious of CD, because the hard-sell innocence on D1 seems pretty wolfy, but he's new so I wouldn't read too much into it. I just don't trust Penguin in general, but I think he got executed D1 last game, so I won't vote him. Starseeker.
  11. Maybe if he had his helm on… yeah, I guess you're right. To me, the Unoathed is one of the scenes that would translate best to a movie, especially since there's not a ton of internal monologing. You did not just say that.
  12. 1. This may be a bit of bias, but I feel like the "Taln fought back" scene needs to be in there somewhere. Ash's voiceover: "You could have had the city…" and just a brief flash of Taln hulking, then a loud crack. 2. Not really a big deal, but I don't love the captions of the locations, I feel like it detracts from the cinematic nature of the script. 3. I think somewhere, maybe after "the next one," there should be some sort of: "Ten days. Ten days to fight. Ten days to win. "Ten days to lose it all. "The journey always comes before. But every journey has a destination." Then toward the end: "This is the destination for all of us." Or something like that. I can't remember the quote. Again, that just amps up the tension, I think. 4. There has to be a brief flash of the Unoathed.
  13. I love it! However, would you mind a few critiques?
  14. Thus it ended. The star exploded in a rush of Investiture, piercing the three realms. Light burst forth from the blast, and Light followed. The brilliance of the supernova nearly blinded even His godly eyes. Would that they had been blinded, so that he would not have to witness the desolation. The blast ripped through anything in its path, destroying the star system almost instantly. The blast through the Spiritual Realm traveled maddening fast. At that rate, it would reach the nearest planets within minutes. And everyone would die. Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī knew that if he stayed, he would be destroyed. Still the power resisted. It wanted to stay. To fight. To be Valorous. Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī did not agree with the power's primal urgings. He knew that Valor had to flee. And so he tried to reason with the power, as much as anyone could reason with the raw essence of bravery. This is not Valor! Valor is not dying on a needless battlefield, simply because you can. Valor is being unafraid to do so if it is necessary! This is not necessary. I can see that the other Shards have a plan! My death will not help this battle. My death will weaken the forces of good! Valor is not self-sacrifice. Valor is willingness to die to further a just cause. Valor is not death. Valor is nobility in death.
  15. You literally interrupted me as I was writing it.
  16. @Born of Mist It will be posted by the end of today.
  17. For future reference, instead of posting again, just edit your original post (top right corner). You're the one that's like the mafia connoisseur, right?
  18. I don't remember if any of you were in the first SE game I played, LG104, that was my nickname. No one ever called me that again. I think Terrisman started it.
  19. I'll sign up as… Storms. I did Worlder and Worldy, where to go from there? I'll figure it out. Quick question, when you say "visit", you mean target, right?
  20. I didn't know there was an artificial limit, but I think you're only supposed to give 15.
