A rock doesn't have an instinct for self-preservation. Death only occurs when one lacks the will to survive, or can't because they are dead. I should have grabbed that last slice of Perfectly-Normal-Beast pizza.

    Welcome! Please consider an Intro Post to let us what you have or haven't read (whatever list is shorter)! It is my belief that Testament — yes, it was Testament — was able to change shape because Shallan was still bonded to her, and Brandon has said that deadeye blades bonded to their original owners can do some freaky stuff. I can't find the exact WOB, because Arcanum's search feature is storming useless. However, Treamayne is going to show up in a few minutes, so it's okay. Edit: looked a little more: these are pretty tentative, though.

    The masked figure stood. "Braid was killed with a midnight familiar. If I was going to try to murder somebody in secret, it would be a lot less obvious than that. "Why did they leave the body? They could have dumped it overboard and no one would have been the wiser. "No, they wanted to be found. But why?" The figure threw the last knife, which hit the lantern's flame and extinguished it. The voice came again, from somewhere near Sozar. "That's what you're here to tell me. Who are you, really?"

    Something wooshed past Sozar's ear, than another, then another. Three thunks. The door closed, pushed by the momentum of the knives. A lantern sparked, revealing a figure lounging on a barrel. "Tell me."

    Wait. Not Salay's. Sozar's cabin. The note says "cargo hold", not "bridge." ★★★★★ Fair points. I'm going to retract my vote on Twinstorm, and place it on Belandrius Ohmar. After reading the vote over again, I realized that I kind of understand the tendency to poke vote (even if I don't agree with it), but Belandrius started a poke vote train, which is different.

    The way your post seemed to me was less "you shouldn't be poke-voting" and more "you shouldn't be poke-voting me." It sounded very confrontational to me.

    I think that you misinterpreted what I said. I agree, poke votes aren't good right now. However, your reaction to those poke votes is still valid.

He stabbed a note into the door with yet another knife. Bridge. ★★★★★ Alright. I'm going to put my vote on Twinstorm, at least for the moment. Penguin is being blunt, but they always are, so for now no read. Twinstorm, on the other hand, acted really defensively about Penguin's "poke vote." V!lean Stink, because I feel like an elim would want more poke votes. On that note, the people who were light-hearted about their votes are slightly e!leaned, at least in my opinion.
