  1. Reads right now: v!Drake, because making jokes about being an elim is harder when your actually an elim, at least in my experience. v!Mippo, really chill which is hard to do as a new elim v!coco, because...vibes e?TJ, because...vibes. My least confident read E!DOC because I do not trust anymore (and also weird analysis post which I will link soon)
  2. Most games don't have the +3– -3 voting, and the person with the most votes gets exed. I thought the negative votes removed votes on a player.
  3. So I do not know how this game works, I thought negative votes were good. I was so happy that you all had so much faith in me. I'll be back tomorrow, I'll actually have free time, don't worry. Yes, before Doc gets mad at me, I forgot to vote. @ArcherI can still talk in-thread, right?
  4. Is this because I told you about my dream? Right now, I'm v!leaning Mippo the most, they've been really chill in the Ravenclaw PM, and I don't think most knew elims are like that. I think TJ is village too, because of vibes, really.
  5. I'm here, don't worry, but about to go on a long drive. Spring break though, so I'll probably be much more active in this game.
  6. This is amazing. Jarry gulped. What would the Hat reveal? Would it tell them...that? No, it couldn't. He walked trembling up to the Hat and placed it on his head.
  7. I never understood the "ghosts can't learn new things" in Harry Potter, because that would mean they don't have memory, but we've seen them remember stuff that happened to them in the past: the Grey Lady remembering Tom and the Horcrux, the Headless Hunt learning new tricks, Nick knowing who students are...
  8. Well, I know I can answer at least one of these questions: I'll give the boring, not funny answer of Nightblood. Sword vs stick already isn't good for stick. As for the rest... I don't think so. What you're saying is a Cosmere Chat-GPT, and if you put Chat-GPT into the Cosmere, it most likely wouldn't have Identity (or Identity like Nightblood and people do). This comes down to a fundamental problem in an incredible number of fields: AI is just code. It's clever code, and it can, to an extent, learn, but it's still code. And no matter how kind the GPT model you talk to is, it doesn't have feelings. You could destroy it, you could feed it erotica, you could tell it it's going to die by fire. And it won't care. But Nightblood does have emotions. It can thinkfor itself. And it can make up its own Identity, instead of how it's regarded by people. So no. Cosmere-GPT would probably not be able to change its Identity.
  9. ANGER Also, I'm anger-y at not enough people here, so if you could do that...
  10. I know, it was just faster to type Grass than Verdance The seed bank they go to in MI:8 (aka the best movie ever)
  11. Not wanting the Shard to burn Edit: posting at the exact same time as Grass
  12. Isn't it not the Honorblade, and so they're confused?
  13. If you can put it in inanimant objects, get a tiny object with low mass, surround it with low-mass metal, then with aluminum, then have a Windrunner lash it down through the Emberdark. If I remember right, the Emberdark liquid has almost no friction, so 100× lashing will make it accelerate at 1000 m/s2, and given enough Stormlight, this object could reach speeds of up to or even exceeding 10 km/s. In other words, too fast. (I'm assuming a 20 gram object is Earth-like gravity, which is realistic). And—again, if I remember right— it will just fall forever, which means that one day later, it will be almost a million kilometers down. Then kill the Radiant and Spren.
  14. Reminds me of the plot of Aurora Rising. (And vaguely Halo)
  15. So much better! I love it, and I hope I get to read the next part soon! I do have a couple of minor suggestions, but I'll give you those tomorrow.
  16. Wouldn't an aluminum safe be better?
  17. I like it, though I do have a couple of issues. 1. ↑ This is lazy. I'm guilty of the same thing in almost everything I write, but having the character just "instinctively" know what to do is , for lack of a better term, lazy storytelling. I get the point of this, but there's got to be a better way to do it. 2. Again, a bit lazy. Just saying "a thought came to him" will always bother me. Give me a reason. Does something remind him? Does he always think that at this point? (Also, thoughts should probably be italicized, or at least set off in some way)
  18. Wait, is this the part that has a duplicate few paragraphs? I forgot to fix that, I think it merged two different documents. Edit: yes, it is. Skip from "warriors" to the second "The other Blades". Sorry!
