  1. In various parts of the book, we get information that Emul and Tashikk left the Azish Empire. However, does this count as "legal" or were they "legally" controlled by the Azish at the time of the contest of champions. Could Odium have not had every city in every empire secede and make their own capitals, or is there something about the Azish legal code that allows it? Also, I'm fairly sure Yezier and Alm never rebelled, so does it count as part of Azir? Did Yezier rebel at the last moment? If it counts as part of Azir, are Marat, Liafor, Desh, etc. all controlled by Yanagawn? We know Tukar and Steen are Odiumland, but what about the others? Or, does the Azish Empire no longer legally exist? Is Yanagawn still the Prime Aquasix of the Azish Empire, or just the Prime of a weakened Azir?
  2. Vorinism will go crazy. Some of them are going to be traditional, some of them will worship Dalinar, some of them will even worship Retribution, I could even see some of them ending up worshiping Syl or the Sibling
  3. Corporations = Hate I see no inaccuracy here
  4. Now I hate Odium for splintering my hobby.
  5. I don't think they were the traditional surges, I think maybe some remnants from Ashyn?
  6. Could Nightblood restore Kelsier's Mistborn powers then?
  7. What happens in Retribution's empire he now controls? Will the Fused still rule, or will they fight? With Taravangian let the humans and singers make a government? Will they ever see the sun again, or is Roshar now just a planet of constant storms? What terms did Fen negotiate?
  8. On page 1261, Nightblood says he can restore Szeth's lashings after he broke his Skybreaker bond. Can Nightblood only replicate the Skybreaker lashings? Or could it replicate any surge. Could the sword give other lashings? Could it learn to give you Allomancy or the ability to draw Aons? Has Nightblood just become a "super" honorblade?
  9. I read it as she was overconfident. In Alloy of Law, we see Miles heal from shots to the head. Is it possible tapping steel made her injury occur faster? If she tapped zinc, I think she would likely have time to heal.
  10. But, Kelsier also gave up the shard. If you are right, is he saying Kelsier didn't give up Preservation?
  11. I don't believe the WoBs are actually canon until they make their way into a book
  12. When I was reading, this passage caught my attention when Hoid is talking to Dalinar about the Spiritual Realm. The passage is this on page 244: To my knowledge, this is Kelsier when he gave up Preservation to Vin in Secret History. But here, Hoid says it was the "wrong" choice. Does this mean Vin killed Ati was the "wrong" outcome? Should Kelsier have united Ruin and Preservation? Should they have stayed apart? Or is it just Hoid saying it wasn't the best for Kelsier. I see two possibilities, either it's nothing and Kelsier himself would be better off as a Shard, or... Harmony was not supposed to happen. What if Sazed isn't the Hero of Ages? What if Autonomy somehow corrupted the prophecies like Ruin did in the original series? I think this is critical to focus on...
  13. If this is true, I could see three "main" factions in the future cosmere. Scadrial, Elantris, and Roshar. Sorry Autonomy.
  14. It's mentioned many times that the ten surges and radiant orders were varying combinations of Honor and Cultivation. If Cultivation is gone, will Odium fill in the gaps? Will we end up with "corrupted" radiants or something entirely new? If Taravangian is offering Voidlight to everyone, then will we end up with a second Urithiru, with a different organization of Knights Radiant
  15. Does Retribution even notice they are gone? I think Retribution might end up like Harmony, with the powers slightly imbalanced.
  16. I think Vorinism is going to shatter and have lots of different branches. Kind of like Christianity. Dalinar breaking oaths, Odium absorbing Honor, and all the ardents being freed, is going to lead to a lot of different interpretations.
  17. I agree, I think end stage cosmere will have Retribution collapsing out from underneath himself as Honor rejects him. I have a feeling he's going to go collect other shards and then it will all collapse
  18. Now I'm imagining the Skybreaker summoning his shardblade and then a highstorm approaching with hundreds of windrunner squires riding it. The horde comes...
  19. Scadrial: Rashek: Generally op and would probably be the heavy hitter. (Rashek from before he was corrupted by Ruin after 1000 years) Kelsier: Great plotter/planner and would be the leader. Also has hemalurgy knowledge Roshar: Kaladin: Great team player and would mesh with everyone else Szeth: Cause Nightblood Nalthis: Vasher: Has a large knowledge of Awakening Susebron: Has 10k breaths Sel: Hrathen: Dedicated and has knowledge of whatever the bone magic is called. Galladon: Chill+Elantrian+Already Worldhopper Yolen: Hoid Taldain: Khriss: Cosmere knowledge Kenton: cause sandmaster
  20. I'm not sure this is going to be simply a "side plot." I think it might just be a large part of the plot alongside Autonomy's return
  21. I suppose. Do we know if Skybreakers need to touch something to use Division on it?
  22. Who would win in a fight?
  23. Why though? If you have lots of oxygen and don't need to breath, your physical abilities markedly improve. Just look at athletes who move from mountains to shoreline and vice versa
