  1. "Yeah. I'm Stone. Well, I should call you something. What do you think?"
  2. "Well . . . okay. It's a start. Do you have a name?" "Are you an Author?" "It'll only succeed if you can cancel out his Enulling." Atreides admitted wryly. "Besides, his Blade, Savior Complex, is extremely powerful, in the right circumstances."
  3. "He would." Atreides nodded. "My Author tells me so." "Oh? Is that all . . . is that all you remember?"
  4. Stone glanced at Someone else. "Do you remember anything?"
  5. "Indeed. The Enuller will be frustrating. Perhaps we ought to take care of him first." That disturbed Stone.
  6. Atreides smiled. "Any hero strong enough to take Protagonist. Meaning Whitlock."
  7. Stone frowned. There wasn't wind here. Atreides grimaced. "Then counteract him. Get Antagonist first."
  8. "Uh, okay." Stone nodded, unsure. "Yeah . . . about that . . ." he sighed, calling for an Author. He didn't care who, he just needed intervention.
  9. "This is . . . " he frowned. "Look, are you okay?? Do you need help?"
  10. "I don't know." Atreides shrugged. "Your his clone." that was Atreides Stone sighed. "Look, who are you, exactly? Who's your Author?"
  11. "Then . . ." he frowned. "well, first we need to stop him from gaining power. Every person he's manipulating . . . sever his control. Eventually we'll force him to come to us. He'll be desperate."
  12. "Alright." Atreides sighed. "How should we kill him? Go hunting for him, or bring him to us?"
  13. "Well, then, who are you?" Stone sighed. "Do I know you . . . Nemesis?" he replied as a thought from an Author came to him.
  14. excluded my vote for Derrick from Josha
  15. oh okay Atreides frowned. "Rebus. The Plotblade will not do us much good, in the end."
  16. Stone whipped around, raising his fist instinctively. "Oh! Sorry!" he paused, lowering his hand. He would need to stop being so jumpy.
  17. Stone hovered in the void. It was known as the Place of Indecision, where characters went when Authors were busy, and it was really quite cramped. "Hello?" he whispered, jostling past Malevolence and some other poor souls, hoping somebody would hear him. @Through The Living Glass
  18. Josha winced, sighing. He had gone to bed early last night, and had not risen till noon. Now he stood in the courtyard, observing his surroundings, after having cast an observation spell this morning. Keldorn seemed very analytical and practical, something not often found in murderers. He just wanted to solve the mystery, at least that was how it appeared to Josha. He suspected he might be villager, for right now, at least. Both Teal and Mil did not seem interested in the murders, at least not to the point of making accusations, which was troubling to Josha, who could not tell if that was the sign of a Spiked, or merely uninterested villagers. Lipitor seemed to be the type of person who wasn't paying attention, and that was a shame. Derrick trying to deflect votes onto Antari seemed suspicious, as well as taking Copper's accusations and removing several people from the list for no apparent reason, settling on Var with little explanation (that was noticeable to Josha, of course). Time was running out, and they needed to choose. @Ashbringer Josha, though, would love to hear Derrick's thoughts, and defend his choice.
  19. @#1 Taln Fan you should see this I agree, I think Jezrien is a great character and very heroic, but he broke, and so is "flawed," at least according to the fandom, same with Nale (tho he has other problems) and the rest of the heralds, and I think that could be a powerful arc in his book coming to terms with a failure. But there is something inherently fascinating with the exception, the Herald that did not break, one who held through pure force of will. I'll continue my thoughts later, I need to go.
  20. so I was bored @Through The Living Glass @Bird Furious (content warning: middle finger)
