    The doorway lit on fire as the flames engulfed the barrier. Cricket raised an eyebrow. "Any other plans, genius?" he said to Bacon.

    I think he'll fall in the same boat as Oroden, Kaladin's brother, having the shadow of famous family members, aspiring to be Radiant. At least for Oroden, I'm hoping for him not to be a Windrunner and be another order and dealing with expectations, like Albus Potter, but done right.

    The hunters looked around, before sending out a wall of raging fire, heading straight for the barrier. Cricket looked in terror. Even if the barrier could stop the flames, the heat would be unbearable. "I don't know. They could be Narrators, but they were too experienced with shifting for that. But that could explain the flames. Bacon are sure this is a good idea, just waiting? Surely they will come up with some way to trap us, burn it, we're already trapped! This barrier isn't letting me portal!"

    They instantly shifted away from the anvils, each effortlessly shooting a Mordite arrow, and pulling another one. Cricket cursed. "I think they're portalers." can Mordite pierce the barriers?

    Cricket scanned the terrain, then pointed. "More than one! Look!" he called out, gesturing toward four hunters in dark clothing, each with bows in hand and dark capes that looked to be made out of shadows, several hundred feet away.

    Of course Dec 6th is one of the busiest days of the month for me… I probably won’t be able to begin until midnight… *sighs* Nope, too expensive and I’m broke. I’m going out of town so that’ll be nice.
