  1. Cricket looked back at the corpse regretfully and followed. "Listen, Shoe..."
  2. Perseus followed, shouting his eyes tightly. "We can't do anything else here, Shoe. Let's go."
  3. Cricket gasped, shocked by the suddenness of it all. Then, he felt a crushing relief. Any longer, and he might have done the deed himself. "Let's go get Beosta and find her aunt." he said to Shoe. @Ookla the Inconclusive Cricket grasped it tightly.
  4. "I am completing my crusade, prisoner. By capturing the Cosmere's greatest criminals, I have brought greater peace. Now, I seek to make sure it stays."
  5. Palinor frowned at him. "One does not speak to superiors in that way." he said, Lashing himself several inches off the ground. "Does that answer your question? Now answer one of my own. What is a Skybreaker doing in prison? Yes, I know, my spren told me of yours."
  6. As for the rest of your comments, I think he'll probably won't have a following this Era, though if he continues on to new Eras then he will likely gain an empire. He could probably begin as an ally of Perses but slowly become a rival, if you want to do that.
  7. Perseus shrugged. "I'm down for it." "I'm not a conductor. Just a Narrator." Trellin frowned. "I was sent here, because..." he checked a note in his pocket. "Apparently, my master wants me to investigate Narratorial powers. So he gave me this body, and made me a Narrator."
  8. He looked around again. "I've live a thousand years in Ragnorok, and there is one major rule for surviving. Civilization is in the lowlands. Try and find a way down from this plateau." he said, leaving to look for ways off.
  9. "Now?" he said, getting up and looking around. "Now, we gather allies. We should head to one of the rebellion bases, maybe the Ninth Wall of Freedom. Yes, that would be good. We should find some civilization, first, and see where we are." Somewhere in the Thread, Trellin appeared. "Hello?" he called.
  10. I'll join! I'll be... Matoro, a incredibly lucky Herdazian gambler who isn't at all cheating in any way @DrakeMarshall
  11. He rubbed it over his wounds, wincing. "Thanks. That feels better."
  12. Granted, they're covered in [insert thing you hate here] I wish for perfect pitch.
  13. "He managed to escape." he suddenly summoned a wickedly long Shardblade, whirling around to face Bakhado, who had been unnoticed. "Two escapes, guard?" he said, raising an eyebrow. "I was told you were the best." @Ookla the Dragonslayer
  14. Perseus sighed, pulling off his shirt to reveal large burns. He winced. "Some more to add to the collection, I guess." he said, exhausted. Cricket looked at him with hatred. "Be thankful you're alive."
  15. "And, why, exactly did he have a colored piece of clothing? You know as well as I do all prisoners are to be clad in shades of gray."
  16. Another guard saluted but was quickly distracted by an Awakened boot. More guards entered the hallway, arresting Feren, including one very important man, the Warden Palinor. "What is going on?" he demanded.
  17. "You sure? Oh, well." he said, and it vanished. "A place." Trellin said. "I'm hopefully here to witness a new beginning."
  18. Cricket nodded, facing the wall. "Exactly. Your wife is gone. You are the most vile, disgusting monster I've ever met, and I've seen my fair share." In the distance, they heard Atreides shout. "When you return, I'll have my vengeance. I don't care how long, or how far. I will come for you!" They emerged in a strange place. It was a rocky plateau, with some weeds going through. In the distance, there was a field of lava, and dark mountains. A mist hovered over everything. Far above, a storm was brewing, blotting out most light, but if they could see higher, they would see the cavern ceiling, encrusting with massive glowing gems that illuminated the hell known as Ragnorok.
  19. Perseus nodded. He was going home. In the distance, Atreides' shouts grew louder. "We should go." he said, stepping through the portal.
  20. "I'll take some space." said Trellin, ignoring Nameless, and summoning a drink. "Want some?" he offered. "It's caffeinated."
  21. Perseus touched the keys to the earth, causing a massive portal to appear. He nodded to Moni and hurled his sword at Atreides, whose momentum had carried him far away.
  22. Atreides' eyes burned with divine fire, as he stepped forward. "Make me." he growled, summoning a new blade, and soaring toward Moni incredibly fast. Behind him, Perseus scrambled to his feet, holding up the Keys to Ragnorok, which he had stolen of Atreides, showing them to Moni.
  23. Cricket stared at him for a moment. "I hope you suffer." he said, finally.
  24. Endings hit Atreides' blade in a shower of sparks, his blade exploding into shards as souls escaped. He turned furious and punched Moni with the strength of a hundred men. Behind him, Perseus lunged at him with his dagger, slashing at his belt. Atreides elbowed him also, sending him backwards.
  25. "Shut up." said Cricket. "Stop trying to relive the past and realize what you have. You've chased away your own family. What kind of monster does that?" he turned away, only to turn back and slap him across the face. bye! Atreides continued pushing against Perseus, his palm burning through his skin. Perseus screamed, desperately trying to unsheathe his knife.
