    Cricket winced, but forced himself to look around. "How do I apply to train with Shoe, then?" Fael perked up. I could? Then she thought for a second. No. I don't want to talk to him about Telse. It'll just open fresh wounds.

    I would've liked to talk to him, one last time. If that's what he's been doing, then Telse's death would've hurt him, more than anything.
