    She sighed. Maybe she did have a friend, here. I survived the attack. When they came, and burned the buildings, I pulled myself out of the rubble. I saw him, in the distance, covered in ash, holding... she shuddered, holding my sister's corpse, crying. I knew then, no matter what I suffered, nothing would come close to his pain.

    She shuddered. Everyone died. My sisters, my father, the entire planet. I became a bodyguard after I realized that the only other way to get easy money as a Narrator was crime, and my father would hate me for that. She wiped a tear away from her eye. He was a good man.

    She nodded. Which one? she asked. The last time my father welcomed a newcomer, my home was destroyed. It wasn't his fault, though. It was came for him.

    "Yes. I'm ready." he said, steeling himself. Could he really face Enullers , after what had happened so many years ago? He had to. He had no choice. After all, he was part Enuller, he reminded himself.

    Fael glared. "And why would I do that?" she asked. "I'm no thief, and I'm hardly a fighter. The Blade scared most people off. I'm just a Narrator." Cricket nodded, satisfied, glad that maybe something would work out.

    "No!" she objected, vehemently. "I was working as a bodyguard. I've been doing it for the past two years, since..." she broke off. Yeah. I'm going to try and apply to train with you, so I can stay with you guys, but the Enuller says it isn't likely. Fael jumped as he spoke in his head. Whoa, she gasped, this is weird. Is this how you always talk?

    "No need for that!" she gasped. "Sorry about this." "Uhhh, sure. Can you send the note now?" Shoe? he sent the Enuller says your trainer demands you do more sessions with him. Sorry. Fael looked around, blushing when she saw everybody staring at her. "I'm a Narrator." she gasped, rushing it out. "You probably realized that, what with the blade and everything, but I was trying to get some money after my home was... destroyed, and these guys attacked me so I teleported here! Sorry, about it."

    She gasped. "I'm so sorry!" she said, hurriedly apologizing. "I'm not here to hurt you!" Fael smiled. "Thanks. I'm sorry about the Blade, but those... people were trying to kill me, and..." she looked around. "I should probably start at the beginning. I'm Fael, Fael Dawnlight." "Request to train with Shoe."

    New character time! (cuz I'm bored) Fael suddenly appeared, gasping, and seeming out of breath. "Winds," she gasped. "Winds. Where am I?"
