  12. "I have no idea," Tam replied, poking her more rapidly.
  13. Ah, Cricket . . . I-I don't . . . she paused, sighing. She sounded wonderful, and thank you. I'm so sorry about what happened, again. I wish I could help you more . . . Fael too.
  14. Mm, understandable. Well, I already know your name, Bacon. As for mine . . . I'm not sure. I'm still trying to figure out how this all works. For now, I guess you can call me . . . um . . . She struggled to think of a good name. Of course.
  15. She knows, Tam replied, putting a hand on Fael's shoulder.
  16. Ah, okay, well . . . if neither of you want to talk about it, I get it, it's fine, she said gently, floating back over to Fael.
  17. Tam blinked. Know about what? Forgive her for what? she asked Cricket.
  18. In case you didn't hear . . .Cricket says he forgives you. She wondered what he'd meant by that.
  19. I will, though . . . she might already know. She looked over at the younger girl. Fael?
  20. Just doing my best to help, she said warmly. The hugging feeling tightened briefly before fading away completely.

  23. Tam didn't say anything, but to Cricket it suddenly felt like someone were hugging him, even though he couldn't see anything, and would feel nothing if he were to wave him arms in the air in front of him.
  24. Legally blind, baby! *sigh* TPBM really wants LASIK.
