This brings up the idea of "can you get addicted to Investiture? I'm not going to use quotes, but there are many points it SA that the Radients talk about feeling incomplete without stormlight, and how their body feels refreshed and a lot better when they hold it. Are they addicted to stormlight? The same thing goes to say about breaths, possibly even more so, as They quite literally feel incomplete without the breath ( this might just be the complete lack of breath, but i digress) Savants are over using their metal and end up damaging their spirit web, but get enhanced abilities from the practice. Are savants just addicted to burning metal? I honestly don't know, and could be remembering passages wrong or misunderstanding the context of certain statements, But it raises a lot of questions regardless. I expect that there are people who don't think that if Kaladin lost access to stormlight, he would fall and be extra depressed, but I do. I believe that if only to a small extent, you can get addicted to investiture. Feel free to disagree, i'd like to hear what other (probably better informed people) think.

TLM is really good, but TFE is better TWoK is better for the same reason Final empire is better I like ES best. although, Hrathsin is one of my favorite characters, the relationships in ES were masterful I'm going with Yumi, I just like how different it is (relatively)

I haven't heard either way, so I have no idea if the opinion is unpopular, so I was covering my bases.

I personally think Hoid is a fine character. He makes me laugh sometimes, and the stories like the dog and the dragon are some of my favorite parts of rereads, but he can be really annoying. This may be unpopular, but the Hoid + Jasnah is disgusting. I hate every single aspect of it.

I need an extended Fleet now. Or maybe The Dog and the Dragon. This is so good.

Shardblades are a physical manifestation of a spren, but are they able to be pushed/pulled on with allomancy? I keep going back and forth trying to decide if you could. If you could, What would be the difference between a live blade and a dead one, if any?

Excuse me if I misunderstood your statement, but living plate using investiture to heal itself makes sense. blades by nature don't break, and don't take investiture to summon (like living plate).but living plate and dead plate can shatter. while a dead plate can't heal, a living plate is bound to a radiant with access to stormlight.

That makes sense. I tried 3 times before i made it through TWoK, I understand needing a break. Really hope you revisit it though!

I agree with Voidlit. Jasnah is my least favorite character in any Brandon Sanderson book. While I don't think Jasnah will die, I wouldn't be sad if she did (the whole Jasnah + Hoid is gross.) I do think, despite my dislike of her, Jasnah is a vital and unique character. Jasnah needed an arc, or at least a little character development, before she got her shards. Just saying that she's the best is SO boring. Alternatively, I think it would be really interesting if Jasnah implements some plan, and they back fire, or she does SOMETHING poorly, and she can go insane, or get depressed, or do something. I really dislike her character, and think she could be better. Here's some WoB talking about the title of the third book
