  1. That is a difficult question! A few of my favourites include 'Cat Breeds', 'Welsh Orthography', 'History of Feminism', 'The Game', and any and every broadway musical. What are your favourite and least favourite months of the year?
  2. LOOK OVER THERE! *Steals the win while everyone is distracted*
  3. Hi Death, I'm Taxes
  4. A large portion of the Seventeenth Swarm follows you
  5. Hi bored, I'm tired.
  6. I'm an obligator, now! I always thought their eye tatoos sounded really cool, so this has been my favourite rank so far.
  7. A swarm of wasps arrive, stinging Honor and flying away with the sandwich while he is occupied.
  8. YKYAN when you devise a base-seven number system for one of the cultures in your fantasy worldbuild, and then use that notation to mark the dates on your journal entries. YKYAK when you write the names of fictional characters in the greek, cyrillic, women's script, and steel alphabets on the margins of your homework.
  9. YKYASFW when your friend offhandedly mentions that they are a hypocrite and you reflexively quote Dalinar before you have even processed what they have just said. TWoK spoilers
  10. "And for but a single, brilliant moment, I am the winner of a 47,000-post struggle. How far I will fall when my place is taken, my legacy forever lost to the pixelated sands of time." This post will only grow more emotionally impactful as time passes, but the tragic irony is that, as time passes, it will only grow more difficult to find. (Also, am I the only one who thinks a thread that can never be permanently won is the perfect place for pretentious musings on futility?) (Also, also, as I was writing said pretentious musings, I realised that this thread is the perfect forum-game incarnation of "Journey before destination" which made me really happy) (Also, also, also, future me will probably look at this post and wonder why on earth I was trying to assign deep Cosmere themes to a forum game, but current me (who is sleep-deprived...why is that not surprising, given the contents of this post?), just realised that it is the other way around; the Cosmere contains deep themes of humanity that are unconsciously present in this forum game. Honestly, I think I just realised part of why I love the Cosmere so much, all because I came here to make a (hopefully) entertaining post about winning the game!) (Also, also, also, also: I WIN! )
  11. Rosharan waffles, because 1. They will be less like Earth waffles, and therefore more novel, 2. Lift will make certain they are good, and 3. Savoury waffles topped with Rosharan crab meat sounds delicious. (Mostly though, I am just trying to come up with decent reasons to support my gut instinct that Rosharan waffles are better (yes, that pun was intentional, and I have NO REGRETS))
  12. Objectively, yes, but I am very good at convincing myself otherwise. TPBM is tall
  13. Granted. Your wished fish's fishy wish is wishing you to be a fish. I wish for a kitten.
  14. Granted. Everyone else becomes imprisoned. I wish for better weather (It is currently -8°C and dry enough to make my lips crack if I spend more than 5 minutes outside)
  15. Opened? Possibly. Built? Nope. TPBM keeps a somewhat regular journal/diary
  16. Hello, and welcome to Shard! What has been one of your favourite moments in Mistborn, so far?
  17. *sigh* Scrolling through FGaRS is like playing Russian roulette for those who play The Game.
  18. I just vanquished my first bot! Hopefully the first of many... *mild cackling and finger-tenting*
  19. Which, combined with Fred having destroyed a planet, meant that very few people felt sorry for him. In fact, this group numbered only three; Fred, DETI, and a odd little girl named Miracle Sunscorcher. The fact that Miracle felt sorry for Fred was doubly strange, given that she was one of the few survivors of the planet that Fred had destroyed.
  20. Yes, though more often in creative writing and acting than in actual conversation. TPBM thinks that raisins are, by far, the best part of trail mix.
  21. DETI had an unnerving habit of following Fred everywhere he went, as a physical manifestation of his regret. They looked like a ferret made of shadows, and every time Fred saw DETI, his regret deepened, causing them to grow. By the time our story begins, DETI was two weeks old, and about the size of a golden retriever.
  22. Granted. Everything you have previously learned is replaced by a vast pool of trivia knowledge. I wish for artistic talent.
  23. Currently, 99.5% of my phone's storage space is used up, and a solid third of that is photos. *fake smile* But why worry when I can procrastinate instead? TPBM wears socks to bed
  24. No, I am not sure... I am absolutely certain!
