    Not me procrastinating on every assignment I've gotten so far this school year...And they call me a model student!

    Beginning Drama is really fun though I feel like I'm going to turn into a Drama kid if I'm not already by virtue of being in that class

    That'd actually be a better idea because assuming the next HG happens a year later his body would already be completely controlled by Berin and his whole thing is that he's trying to find a way to get Berin out of his head before that happens

    I don't think the Greenspine and Berin will achieve their goal this Hunger Games, but do you think they could be in the next games too (assuming they're still alive)?

    Finally, the Greenspine thought. Now, I just have to not give in to my overwhelming hunger. Hmm.... I bet on Murr, because if he wins I get to eat two people, not just one.

    The Greenspine narrowed its eyes at the tributes, then spotted a hint of something in the bushes on the other side of the clearing from it. Oh, there's that pesky tribute in hiding, it thought. Its kind had excellent vision, of course. Why is he hiding anyways? There's nothing more for him to do but fight. I'll just make that known for him. It picked up a rock from off the ground, swung it around with a vine, and flung it into the bush, right in front of where Murr was hiding.     Stupid.... Gamemakers... The Greenspine wasn't going to kill itself to make a statement or anything, not like its predecessor. No, the Greenspine liked being alive. It didn't like the pain. Was his voice... louder now? I'm slowly losing my mind to you, the Greenspine realized. Eventually, you'll have full control over my body, and I'll be a voice trapped in my own body. Of course, you'd probably like that. It groaned inwardly. I need you get you out of my body! So long as it doesn't kill me! I don't mind if it kills you, though. Sorry.

    What the hell? the Greenspine thought, picturing Berin eating the pain in his mind, then vomiting it back out. Look, I'm going to wait until these tributes fight each other, then I'll eat the loser and kidnap the winner. Sound good?

    Ah, yes, the pain. No, the Greenspine wasn't too fond of it. I ate you, it thought, and that didn't help. What if I take a tribute alive? Knock them unconscious, tie them to myself with vines, then resist the urge to eat them and try not to drown them? It sounded pretty ridiculous, but it could hypothetically work.

    The Greenspine narrowed its eyes at the tributes. Eat everyone, then... escape in the chaos? But how did it escape? It had swum around the entire perimeter of the arena over the course of the games by now, and hadn't been able to find any exits. Maybe... @Spark of Hope

    I don't have any problems but my friends do and they're pretty serious so I might not have much time for the Shard while we're sorting stuff out, especially with school starting up again for me in 3 days

    Yay Stick is back!!!! Sticks hold life because they are used to make nests, and eggs are in nests, and eggs have life in them, so the sticks ultimately hold them.

    You know, the Greenspine thought, If no one here is fighting at all, I might as well just jump in and eat them all. Its stomach loudly rumbled. "Hello," it said from the bushes. "Please hurry or I will eat you! The Gamemakers don't want me to, but I will!"
