  1. "Did you say... tea?" Lily asked, hopefully. She sat down on the ground, crossing her legs. (criss cross applesauce)
  2. They wore? "Yes, I'm fine- just gave me a bit of scare, is all." Lily attempted to straighten her back and look tough. She failed miserably.
  3. I'm constantly in a state of suffering
  4. Yeah. Without the internet and reading this in a bubble, I probably wouldn't have made the connections between series. I didn't even realize Zahel was Vasher, for Harmony's sake.
  5. The woman, Lily, woke up with a start. What... what's happening? Where am I? The edge of her dress caught on fire from the previously mentioned burning tree, and she proceeded to stop, drop, and roll. (after screaming her head off, of course.)
  6. Really? I thought suffering involved happiness and rainbows-
  7. A woman in a white dress descended from high above. Her violet hair accented her teal eyes. This was Lily. She floated gracefully to the ground and promptly fell asleep.
  8. Platypus jumped over it, feeling a strength they hadn't felt in ages. Could it be?
  9. 3 episodes into Loki season 2. It's not as good as season 1 so far, but it's still entertaining. Hard to believe that it's already halfway over
  10. From what I understood, they had to be grafted together. So maybe a chain where the links are grafted together? That would make it less chain like though.
  11. Yeah, or something in the back half. This point may be moot in a few years, haha. Would have been cool to see them in the book though.
  12. I agree with most points that you give here, especially the powerup and not caring about Sigzil. I had an idea that might make Sigzil's character better for us, but it would make the pacing a lot slower, and perhaps reveal some things that Brandon doesn't want to reveal yet. The idea is simple: Do flashback chapters. That's one of the main calling cards of Stormlight, and it's one of the reasons we care about characters like Kaladin and Dalinar so much. It would probably take at least another revision for pacing, but I think it would be worth it for the characterization we'd get.
  13. I would personally just read them in release order. That's probably the safest way to do it, learning as everyone else did.
  14. Oaths can be broken- I'm just saying that if a shard that was more destructive (Ruin or Odium) or more carefree (Whimsy) they might just take up the power. Isn't that what the sleepless were afraid about in Dawnshard? (the book)
  15. Noted, that makes complete sense! Thanks for clarifying- can't wait to see the kind of wacky hijinks that duralumin ferrings get up to!
  16. In TLM, Shai uses a soulstamp to rewrite her history into being an Elantrian. In theory, if a Scadrian could become a forger, could they rewrite their history into being born as a Mistborn/Full Feruchemist?
  17. I would join the Ghostbloods. Kelsier protects and cares about his people, and he shares my inquisitive philosophy when it comes to the cosmere. There's always another secret.
  18. How would Endowment have gotten a Dawnshard? I'd say that the Shard would use the Dawnshard to grow more powerful, but I suppose that would be against "Endowment". Honestly, probably the safest shard to give a Dawnshard to. Maybe instead of straight up holding a Dawnshard, maybe he held one in his past, or (more likely) it was used during his creation?
  19. A mistborn with limits, but yes, this would put the Scadrians closer to the glowing knights that can bend forces to their will.
  20. It'd probably be someone close to adolin. Aladar, maybe? All his friends are already bonded haha
  21. Just posted this in Stormlight haha, but "You've never had a spren like me" to the tune from Aladdin.
  22. Ooh, I should try that! Or maybe Elantris...
