  1. “Yer face. The way to express yourself… it… it’s just capital.”
  2. Suddenly an arrow goes into Echo’s shoulder. It burns, stinging. She gets dizzy. Fox turns around, in shock, yelling. “I KNEW IT!”
  3. She looks ups, the man in the sky having spoken. The town suddenly goes silent. She turns around. “The maker is speaking of…” she goes silent for a second before running down the street. She yells something in another language, leaving the two. Vod looks up at the sky before back over at him. “We need to get back.” He whispers, worried. The maker hasn’t spoken in weeks. He gets the horse to speed up.
  4. The cart gets about halfway down the mountain, they sit in bitter cold and silence for the ride. “You scream capital blood yuh know… even if you ain’t ever seen that side of the moon, you scream it.” He drums his fingers on his thigh. She taps down the path, the little red fox on her trail. “Keep up.” She is about four foot ten tall, maybe twelve at the oldest. “Ox!” She calls out to a boy in the field, he is in a tree, his head laid back, munching at something. “If you eat all dem blackberr-eyes I’ll knock yer head off yuh lanky shoulders.” He laughs deeply, he looks about the same age as her. “I’ll make it into a pie.” She smiles a little, continuing down the path into the inner city, the tavern just outside the main town.
  5. Fox pats the back of her right thigh and a little fox runs up. She clicks her tongue and she walks out the door, expecting them to follow.
  6. He spends a few minutes collecting a basket of berries. “Alrigh’ giddy up.” He jumps onto the back of the cart and the horse starts going back down the mountain. Her trot is soft and slow, as if trained to be slow on snow so they don’t make a lot of noise. “We ought to be at the village by nightfall, back in time for some good fish.” He goes silent for a minute. “You gunna have to pretend to not be a halfy… we all district born. Scared of capital breed. Only reason I’m wich you is cause my noggin is a bit loose in this cold, nother person means more warmth.”
  7. @Just-A-Stick @Part Of The Narrative Meanwhile in the east village, District 0 - “I think you’ll like it ‘round here. Everybody knows each other.” A young fine skinned woman says, walking them down the dirt paths beaten down by the bottom of their boots. “We are a peaceful people, most of us been here for years. Everybody lost track of time eventually.” She takes a separate fork in the road, heading up a small hill to a big wooden cabin fit with two floors and lanterns. She opens the door with the ring of a bell. “ ‘Ere we have ol’ Fishmans Tavern. All the freshest fish come straight ‘ere after the fishermen come back from the day.” She pats the counter and the man behind it leans over. “Wut can I get ye fine ladies?” He nods to them. “I’m looking for a place for these lovely ladies to stay.” He eyes her for a moment before smiling. “Of course, Fox ought to take care of yuh.” He whistles and a young girl comes down the stairs, her knee high boots clopping over. She fixes her satchel. “Yessum?” She says, holding out her hand to Echo. “Fox, can ye take these two down to the home?” She nods, shaking Echos hand. “Muh names Foxwood, but ye can callen me Fox.”
  8. “Sure.” He helps put on his shoe when suddenly the cart jerks. He looks up… the horse whines. “What’s the matta girl?” He say quietly, patting her. He looks around. There’s a few bushes by the edge if the cliff, they have the berries ion them. “Good girl.” He smiles, sliding off the side of the cart. His boots hit the snow with a crunch. “I’ll be just a moment and then we can head back to the village.” He sleeps peacefully as the world sways around him. Suddenly he feels a light sucking at his arm, down he looks to see eight leeches the size of his hand sucking on him. How they got here is unknown. The feather is big and long, a slight baby blue mix with a white. It’s huge, big as your forearm. You can see someone has head north, a few south, many east and west. There’s a big pile of stuff. Nobody else is near. The pile shifts, a tentacle reaches out, grabs some grass and pulls back in. A crunch sounds.
  9. “Welcome fellow district folk. We are what we call ‘District 0’” a young woman says, guiding them along the busy street. She wears dull clothes, almost as if she could blend in at any moment. “Please make yourselves at home.”
  10. There were some very large feather. A tiny leather journal and a small wool blanket.
  11. There’s a long plain, a village in the distance, holes everywhere in the ground. A particular looming feeling seems to call however. Abandoned caves and mineshafts… how interesting. @Invisible (you wanna take this one?) @Invisible
  12. The wood cracks. Something is stalking high up in the sky. A flap. And it disappears into the distance.
  13. “I suppose… you’ll be under strict supervision.” Somebody mumbles. “They could bring in the monsters, we must be careful.” They bring them in through the front gates and they lock behind them. “Where are you from?” It gets louder and louder, rumbling the ground beneath him. There’s a small water, bag of dried fruit, and a few rubber bands. A few feathers, a small loaf of bread, and a small book labeled ‘100 things to know in order to survive in the snow’ Nothing stops him, he heads towards the south. The air gets hotter, drying out the farther you walk. @Invisible (he has control in the summer region) The sound of wood cracking sounds in the tree above you, but its faint.
  14. People at the gate stop them and start whispering. “She has the pin, but what about the other.” They go back and forth for several moments, not letting them in. It’s silent for a moment, dark and soggy within the hole. Then a slow rumbling sounds. @Invisible You head south, the heat suddenly hitting your face as you walk onto warm sand. The sun beats down.
  15. They both stand by the village.
  16. You come across a small village… It’s surrounded by a small wall, tens of houses in the little town. It’s grassy and beautiful, it has a gate at the front.
  17. You head over to rolling plains and hills. There are some random holes in the ground along with bunnies running everywhere. You see a small tower way off in the distance. Its weather is calm with a little breeze. Spring. (nobody has gone south @Invisible wants someone to go south.)
  18. “I need to stay here and protect my treasures.” He sinks back into the pile and holds out a small pin in the shape of a small yellow crown with his tentacle. “Go east.” He hisses quietly, he sounds a lot younger than when he was a train conductor. It’s hard to tell his real age. “Wear this.”
  19. “Yes please. Nobody’s my friend anymore. Everybody was touching my stuff and touching my train. And my stupid ugly fart face brothers…” he grumbles, his tentacles shifting on the ground towards his pile.
  20. He whines a little before looking up at her. “Can you bring me a flower?” He whispers, rolling her the water bottle. “A pretty yellow one…”
  21. He whimpers. “But…” He looks down at it, sniffling. “It-it’s mine…” he thinks for a moment. “You would give it back? Not be a meanie and take it?”
  22. Out of the little hole in the pile a creature sinks out. It has shrunk since it was out before, a few feet tall. It sniffles, hugging the water bottle, its big eyes are watering. “But… but it’s mine.”
  23. There is a pair of leather shoes and a small knife.
