    Aaron stumbles into a clearing and sees people fighting. He falls to the ground, gasping.

    Aventine has her hand on Addison‘s shoulder. Why? She shook her head at Jar Man.

    “You won’t.” She was determined to say no more now.

    “I don’t need to,” she said forcefully.

    She takes the slap, feeling the pain and not enjoying it, but appreciating it.

    Aventine was here. Addison needed to leave before she hurt her again. She pulled out of his embrace. “I don’t need to.” She started running blindly away from the two, then slammed into a wall.

    “You can’t. But feel free to try, the pain might feel…relieving.” She closed her eyes again, not seeing Aventine. @Spark of Hope

    She stumbles back, then turns her back on him. “I’ll find my own then.”

    “No. I want you to find me a cliff. Or give me a knife. Or something to overdose on, seeing that it’s you here.

    “Yeah.”

    She finally blinked her eyes open, looking at him. “What do you want from me?”

    She winced, still closing her eyes, but she didn’t try to push him away again.

    That is indeed upsetting, but not overly so. I don’t care much. TPBM doesn’t like The Lord of the Rings.

    She pushed him away again. “Why would I need you?” I hurt him. Aventine’s face when I touched her… I hurt her. How many more will I hurt before I can stop myself? Why can’t there just be a cliff?

    She raised her hand and pushed him out of it. “Go away. I don’t want to hurt you too.”

    She felt something on her shoulder. She almost opened her eyes, but decided against it. It didn’t matter. She kept walking.

    He smiled wider. This was perfect. The view was good, but Jenny…she was what made it great.
