He looked at her, wincing as she took another step. “Here, let help you,” he said, putting her arm around his shoulders. He winced again as his stomach twinged in pain, though his clothing had mostly protected him.
He did not grin back. “I should’ve killed you. But…I don’t think I can. Not now.”
“It is.” He stopped for a moment, and grabbed the pack he had dropped earlier.
Aaron looked around, and, feeling guilty, grabbed an axe. He sprinted away as fast as he could. Somehow, he got an unrealistically far distance in a short time.
Overcoming his initial fright, he walks slowly back towards the cornucopia. He sees a girl getting attacked by something. Warily, he drops his pack and dashes forward, making sure to stay out of any other tributes ways. He grabbed the nearest weapon and hacked at the tentacle along side the girl.
