  1. That's an excellent idea, I'll throw one together and pin it when I get home in a couple hours
  2. Anyone notice the slight continuity error? I'm paraphrasing here, but Dalinar wishes for a description of the Purelake. He shouldn't need on though, he's reminisced on visiting the Purelake in his youth. Unless the specifics of the visit involved his wife somehow? I'm sure this'll be ironed out before the final draft. Anyway, this whole thing is fascinating, I'm terribly excited now!
  3. I'm sorry to hear that SOM1else. I my experience, remaining in touch with people even in the same country is tough enough, let alone internationally. Best of luck to you. I would like to announce that I'm going to be, for the most part, away from the forums for the next 10+ days. I might be able to pop in occasionally, but I don't really know what my internet access is going to be like. So, if you PM me or post a comment on a theory of mine or whatever, I'll get back to you as soon as I can
  4. Well, personally I'd never say no to free Breaths Welcome to the forums, I hope I'll see you around!
  5. I don't want to be a buzzkill, but it's been confirmed that Splintering changes a magic.
  6. It hasn't been put up anywhere, but Brandon's considered doing it. I bet we'll see it one day, but I wouldn't bet that it'll be too terribly soon.
  7. Just a quote to go along with that statement.
  8. I'm not an expert at this sort of stuff, but a few people have uploaded stuff to here. Perhaps that will work? I initially thought it was Marsh as well, but upon conversation with Eric and a bit of reflection, I've changed my mind to thinking that it's Spook. The way he talks just sounds like him to me.
  9. I would like to announce that the wiki is officially below 50% stubs! 49.92% to be exact. There's a massive amount of work still left to go, but this is a huge step and I'm super pumped up about it!
  10. Kalad is another name for Vasher, so I don't really see this as being likely.
  11. Another quote implies that the white Parshmen were also Voidbringers.
  12. I agree Weiry. That's definitely the reason she retained her color, in my opinion.
  13. That someone would be pretty awesome and amazing I need to play Minecraft more. I bought it, and then basically haven't touched it since then due to all the REDACTING school work I've had. Six more days...
  14. Those both seem well beyond the tech level of the time in Rithmatist. I also fail to see how you'd get a two dimensional creature inside a tank.
  15. Huh... This is really cool. I kind of want to give it a try, but I'm a bit of a cheapskate XD A Sharder server would be awesome!
  16. I think I'm starting to sound a bit like a broken record, so I hope I don't come across as too negative when I say that I still tend to disagree with that statement. I interpret that quote as referring to the Investitures, the magic systems, on those worlds, not the innate investiture of the people on those worlds. I'd say that your average Misting or Mistborn has more innate investiture than your average Selish man, but only due to the fact that their powers are due to having a higher amount of Investiture. If the Selish man was taken by the Shaod, I'd expect him to have more innate investiture then.
  17. I'm afraid that I still disagree. I don't think there's a person in the cosmere that is without innate investiture, even those created before the Shattering. Their investiture simply wouldn't belong to a specific Shard.
  18. I'd have to disagree with you on that. Innate investiture is the little part of the Shard inside of people that gives them sentience and consciousness. Metalborn on Scadrial may be born with more innate investiture than a regular person on Sel, but they still have some.
  19. I'm not seeing any problems with it. The sentence doesn't imply that they have authority over lighteyes, just that they can be given ranks traditionally give to lighteyes of higher ranks.
  20. Huh, neat quote. Thanks!
  21. I'm kind of confused as to what you mean by that, Phantom. I might be missing something obvious because I'm terribly tired.
  22. I think Jasnah's going to take priority over Adolin, as Brandon always seemed unsure of that one, but Jasnah's flashback was never in question.
  23. I'm afraid I'm not quite following what you're getting at. The other five I mentioned are a different set of five.
  24. My lack of an ebook totally isn't the reason I haven't contributed at all to the Rithmatist articles... I forgot how annoying LookInside is XD
  25. I dunno, I seem to remember them being impossible to destroy, like Harding's chalklings. There's a distinct possibility that I'm wrong on this, I read the book once very quickly. Since I don't have the ebook, I'm too lazy to look up a quote. Whether they are indestructible or simply keep coming from the Tower, the result is the same, isn't it? You can't stand against countless or immortal enemies.
