    If a child is born on Nalthis to two drab parents, will they be born with a Breath? I know Endowment gives them out, but just wanted to double check. Got the thought with the Breath farm thread, and I don’t want to surf WoBs to find out. Thanks!

      If you want to, sure! I do that, so everyone knows about the cool people I’m Shardbuddies with, but mostly I just follow people so I know when they post new things.

And Breaths are basically a kind of magic that lets you control inanimate things like puppets, but we won’t be good at that, so we’ll have to use it to trade with I guess. And I got Chromium from…” Jaksyn trails off as he hears the voice. “The Casino.” He says in unison with Tondon. “Yes.” The voice whispers in his head.     What’s one thing people do on the Shard a lot that would prevent them from ever becoming a Mod? Asking for a friend, definitely not my lifelong ambition to sneak into the Shardcast and play in Diceborn.

    “I don’t see why we’d let you live… unless you can make those vines be my new arm.” Jaksyn says with an arrogant air. He leans over Patrik, brandishing the knife. “So hand those Breaths over before I kill you.”

    “No!” Jaksyn ran, somehow avoiding every hole and swampy bit, while gaining ground. “Unless it’s giving me whatever Breaths you still have.”

    Jaksyn, torn between saving Tondon and killing Patrik, grabs the knife Tondon dropped and slashes at the vine creature before running after Patrik.

    @Dragonheir, I was halibut fishing. Normally I do it with my family later in the summer on a Zodiac (basically a life raft with a motor), but my grandparents are in town so we took a charter so it was a bit easier and more comfortable. I caught two, which is the most you can get in one day, and one of them was decent. 35-40 pounds, around 3 1/2 feet long. I live in Alaska, so we’re fishing in the ocean not a lake. That’s also why my time zones are a bit different.

Let’s stick together for now.” Jaksyn looks for any sign of a tribute in the distance, like wisps of Stormlight, or color distortion from a high Heightening. “Yeah, they’re not great.
