So I'm trying to make a druid PC in DnD 5.5e (2024 ruleset) but I don't want it to just be the normal nature, plants and animals type stuff. I already have one idea, a botanist who's study of magical plants do... something and then they magic for some reason.

Anyone got any other ideas? I'm stumped (pun intended).

Today's a big day.

I have to do my portfolios, which is basically if finals were a project you had to present to your parents. They're stressful but I've been through it 6 other times so I know how to handle it at this point. That's in like 30 minutes.

Then my dog is getting euthanized... I am sad obviously but I know he's in pain. Cataracts in Both eyes, joint pain, can't feel his back legs, can't control bladder etc. It's the right time.

I feel like such an attention seeker now. I know I'm not but logic doesn't always win.

MY RESEARCH PROJECT WAS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have but one question on my mind right now.

What is one really niche game (or other) series you like that no-one else (or very few people) know about.

Does anyone else feel constantly apathetic and out of social energy? I'm not sure if it's Seasonal Depression (anyone else notice that it's called SAD disorder?) or something else but for a while now everything has just felt like if the color gray was an emotion. Not happy or sad, just emotionless neutrality.

In more happy news I got another Persona game before even beating the one I already have. The obsession is nowhere near ending.

After so long I finally have my finished procedure! Now I can see if the school IRB witll let me do the thing I've been working on for months already!

Ugh, I now understand Bookwyrm's pain about his senior research project because now I have to do one too.

It's hard, and frusturating, and stressful. But it's also fun to research something I like so in depth. I'm conflicted. It also doesn't help that I chose something to do with social sciences which means I have to go through very strenuous checks to get IRB approval before I can send my survey out.

Among other things however, I've discovered an amazing horror game called White Day: A Labyrinth Named School and it's very fun and scary.

I really don't know what to say. I don't feel particularly adult-y. I still feel the same and yet in every state except for Nebraska (where I live) and Alabama (where I don't) I'm considered an adult (by law anyway). Feels weird.

It's also a weird in-between stage. I could join the army but I can't smoke or drink alcohol. I dunno, I just felt that I needed to say something.

Does anyone ever feel like they're doing something and they can just feel the sanity drain out of their body?

That happened to me yesterday while doing some schoolwork. In this order I:

Screamed into a pillow

Had a dance party

Pillow Scream the Return

Worshiped my rainbow worm stuffy from when I was a kid as a god of happiness and perseverance

So yeah, sanity gone.

Hi guys, not much to actually say. Just wanted to say hi!

So...

Hey, remember that guy I mentioned in my last SU? Well this is my last day of summer school and he struck again. This time I was standing in front of the door and he kept waling around the halls in a circle and every time he passed me (only twice bc I reported him after that) he would blow on my face. I even heard him bragging about it to his friends after! After the first time I even got a video of him doing it. I decided that I wasn't going to stand for this and told my teacher I was going to the office. They told me to talk to security and now the security guy is going to check the security cams near the classroom! I don't know what they're going to do because it's the last day for everyone who isn't failing a class but at least I reported it.

I was sitting in the hallway at summer school waiting for the teacher to open the door and there was this kid who kept walking all the way around in a circle. He did 3 things.

1) He screamed in my face for no apparent reason (I wasn't sitting yet)

2) He kicked my foot

3) He called me carrot (I have red hair and it's actually quite offensive)

So yeah. He was an interesting guy, I don't know him or have any classes and he's never done anything to me before so I'm at a loss as to why he decided today (3rd to last day) of all days to single me out.
