  1. It’d likely make Odium a much greater threat to the wider Cosmere. The struggle on Roshar itself could continue as is or perhaps if Odium is no longer chained then he could go and gather more forces. Or alternatively he could just leave and take his forces with him, though Roshar seems too valuable to just leave.
  2. Lmaooo true. This has devolved horribly.
  3. I agree, however it is fun to try and see if there would be any way the contract could be twisted. The current argument is definitely not really doing that unfortunately.
  4. Contest ends when one champion walks out alive.
  5. As others have said. The spirit of the agreement is that one champion comes out alive. Not which dies first.
  6. If they choose to break at the same time then they both broke the contract. If they both die then neither champion really won. gotta say you picked a fitting username.
  7. This is the stupidest argument I’ve seen on this forum. If both champions quite they break the contract. If both die no one wins, contract goes void.
  8. I’ll have to re-read that soon. Where can that letter be found?
  9. Interesting. Is that stated in any of the books (been a minute since I read them) or Dawnshard?
  10. Kinda confuses me cause on so did Honor and Cultivation create the Dawnsingers or did they naturally develop? I tried looking it up but couldn’t find a thread that even asked that. Do we even know?
  11. Hmmm interesting. Someone needs to ask Sanderson about that during a Q&A.
  12. Hasn’t he made himself lighter before? I thought he did it in WoR just having a slight lashing?
  13. Yeah that’s what I figured. Would be interesting to have seen something like that if Stormlight didn’t work the way it does. I haven’t thought of the running forever, that’d be interesting. The whole ability to fly almost makes running useless but it’d be really cool to see a Windrunner use they’re surges for some ridiculous running feats.
  14. So just random thought. lets say Stormlight were real in someway or whatever, and a person who ran track or any other sport really were a Windrunner. Would they be able to weigh themselves down to help with strength training or utilize Stormlight in some other way to assist training? Or would them using any Stormlight just heal any part if their body as they tried to build up strength making it a moot point?
  15. That’s what I decided to do. I had bought a copy shortly before posting and was just thinking about it. But then I thought “I’ve read through the entirety of Stormlight before any other cosmere books and had HoA big time spoiled for me before finishing it so what’s the worst that could happen?”
  16. I gatcha. I probably won’t be reading era 2 for awhile since I’ve got a lot of books sitting on my shelf to get threw plus I want to read Elantris and Warbreaker before then. I thank y’all for these responses, very helpful.
  17. Thanks. Is it big spoilers or something?
  18. More specifically, is a person all in the clear to read SH after finishing the first trilogy? I just finished the first trilogy recently and am not quite ready to move on to era 2 so I was curious if SH is alright to read.
  19. And here I thought that chart was just a fancy surgebinding chart… interesting.
  20. Kal, so I can talk to him about how to better deal with depression, as he seems to be doing better after RoW.
  21. I was thinking more of Truthwatchers, but that makes more sense with Szeth.
  22. May God have mercy on you.
  23. Should have worded that better. I meant people still being on Ashyn.
  24. Where did we get this info?
