  1. Except he wasn't, actually. Strangely enough, he couldn't see, hear, sense, or even smell her. It was as if she had vanished into thin air.
  2. After a moment, she closed her eyes, trying to feel...there. She felt at a sort of mental thread and tugged, pulling herself free. Dilsha opened her eyes, then muttered the word (again) and disappeared (for real this time :). Once invisible, she rolled out of the way and stood up, looking around.
  3. Which was very sad. Luckily,
  4. The snail escapes the high storm and paints a D20 on its shell, so that the 20 is always facing up. Then, because the snail has clearly evolved to be a god of luck, Weaver trips and drops the sandwich right next to the snail.
  5. Goodness, no. I think it's more like...draw or write or even sing something, then PM it to them a day or two before Christmas.
  6. Dilsha raised a single eyebrow. Fine. This is fine. This will be fine. I'm alive, and that's enough. She sat back down in the chair to wait.
  7. "I'm afraid I don't want to die quite yet," Dilsha said. She muttered a word, and disappeared.
  8. *le gesp* *stabs you*
  9. And I yours, in about 3 years
  10. Heeheehee I couldn't stop if I tried.
  11. Eddie clapped.
  12. Aaaaah thanks Wiz!!!
  13. Of this country? Hm...tell them their "elite academy" couldn't even match our peasant schools. "Order cannot be created, foolish stranger. Not for long."
  14. (Yes, this is more Liz, but not really. It's a letter to Ian, the hero, from his actual love interest (and yes their entire relationship was set up by Liz, but it's still very real) I had fun writing it, it's helping me flesh out the actual story) (sorry, I know I keep jumping around to a whole lot of different things). From Mari:
  15. Dilsha raised an eyebrow. "Am I a child, Stranger? Am I foolish? If you search for order, you'd best slit your own throat. There is none of it in this world."
  16. @Ookla the foolish She shrugged. "Depends on the sort of person you are. If you fancy yourself a hero, you'd be helping end the inevitable war with as little loss of life as possible. If you care for yourself, you understand that it's safer to be in the country that's winning. And if you care for your monarchy...I will respect you as you die."
  17. "To be on the winning side, of course."
  18. Dilsha sent her a mental frown that reeked of indifference. She nodded. "That we do...that we do. Are you sure you won't join us?"
