it’s the first school dance of the year.

basically, a guy asks a girl with some big poster or dance or song or whatever else he can think of, the girl responds in a similar fashion, then you get together a whole massive group of couples, plan a day date, do the day date, get dressed super fancy, take some pictures, go to dinner, go to the actual dance (the least fun part) and then have an after party.

it’s dreadful.

but fun.

Think Prom but at the beginning of school instead of the end.

i'm jealous. that sounds like a lot of fun... 

we dont even get a prom... all we have is one hosted by the parents only but thats only at the end of grade 12 for the seniors just before they graduate.
