    Hacob crests the sand dune after a few minutes of walking. "Here it is," he said, gesturing at the bottom of the dune. "Just scrape a little sand off and you'll see it."

    "Yeah, I should be able to find my way back to it. Be careful though, the air hits haaaarrrrrdddd." He walks off in the direction that he came in, clearly expecting Moni to follow.

    that's what I thought. Hacob stumbled back, dazed, to where they had been planning. He walked across the small oasis to Mythos and Moni. "Hey, I found a thing. It was a hatch in the ground, and when I opened it, it threw me backwards with an enormous amount of air. The air was frigid, which is weird, cause it's in a desert. Do either of you know what it is?"

    It will be a life-long adventure that we will pass on to the generations to come after interacting with them on the Shard yeah, TLT posts are crazy most of the time, and the other times they're crazy cool

    I haven't felt romantic love, but I have felt love for my siblings and friends, and it is the single best emotion I have ever felt. It is truly incredible.

    There isn't a connection. It shouldn't change too much from what you've said, but Platypus is too well defended to form connections without his knowledge/permission. I could probably figure it out if I thought for long enough, but i'll be surprised. Platypus perked up where he had been walking. He felt... a sign. He needed to go to Urithiru. He didn't know why, and it could be a trap from Darkness, but... He looked down at his hand where Vengeance's faint shimmer was roaring up. He smirked. He would deal with that when he needed to. He twisted through reality, arriving at Urithiru. - Hacob looked up from a sand dune, wondering what Platypus had been looking for. At last he found... something. It was some sort of hatch, set in the ground. He briefly wondered where it led before opening it. A chilling torrent of air threw him back and the hatch slammed closed. That was unexpected. He would need to figure out what was in there. @Nameless*, my current plan is that that is somehow an access point to where the Witherlord is, is that possible lore-wise? If not i can change it. If so, who would Platypus interact with to find out what lies within that. Eof? or someone else? also, it isn't what Platypus was looking for, he is looking for something very different. DESOLATION DIDN'T EVEN KILL THAIDAKAR, WHY WOULD FALVAN FEEL GUILTY ABOUT THAT????? Actually, as I am the one making my character going through a trauma arc, i kinda understand. Never mind.

    i would never understand was that needed? but seriously, they aren't connected. You can't form a connection to platypus without him approving it, that's why i made him relatively weak in Narration and some other things. He has obviously gotten better as he's gotten older, but he still isn't as skilled at Narrating as someone like Nameless or Thaidakar, nor as good at illusions as Subversion. His mental and physical security are pretty much invulnerable, she simply could not connect.

    it wouldn't have formed with his mind on lockdown, and before that it wouldn't have formed. Platypus is very aware of connections to him and cancels most. Cognition is not connected to him.

    when did that happen? Cause Platypus wouldn't let that happen, especially considering what he's feeling right now, the guilt and distrust, and self-loathing, he wouldn't let someone Connect to him.

    Cognition is connected to Abaldor, that doesn't mean that they're in the same place. Abaldor didn't pass the trial, so he can't be there is my understanding. I'll defer to @Nameless* if he says otherwise.
