    Ash carefully picked up Aventine and carried her through in a Princess carry. She carried her into the nearest room and set her down on the bed. Other Side of the Portal Insa made her way over to Aventine’s father. ”Sir? Are you alright?”

    “Aventine. Is it alright if I pick you up? I can carry you through and get you someplace you can breathe and rest for a moment?”

    "Aventine? How can I help?"

    Ash smiled a little. ”That’s good! I’m glad. I remember you too. You’re an amazing mom. And I am so lucky to have been able to help you out with things in the past. And I’m lucky to help you now.” Ash pointed towards the portal. ”I would love to catch up a little bit. Would you like to come with me? We can do that and get your medics examination done?”

    Ash appeared very quickly on the other side of the portal. ”Insa!? What the heck? What have I told you abo-“ She looked through the portal. “Oh.” Insa gave her a pained smile. “Good to see you Ash. Aventine needs a medical examination. I was planning to send Elan and Gem along as well.” Ash nodded and stepped through the portal. She went right up to Aventine. “Aventine do you remember me?” Ash spoke very softly and gently.

    1) “I guess we finished everything I had planned. Leave. Go home.”

    2) “You’re paying me to teach for two more minutes. Let me find something to say.”

    Insa smiled a little. “Alright then.” She moved to be standing between the patients and the father. “Elan? Please escort Gem and Aventine to the infirmary. And give Ash this.” She held out a sheet of paper.” A portal opened next to them. @Ancient Elantrian

    Insa stood up. “Ms. Aventine.” She spoke as if nothing had happened, “If you would like, your father may accompany us to the Clinic. However you must understand that you will be separated during the medical examination.”

    Insa launched a lightning bolt at him with her other hand.

    Insa glared at him. “She has to have a final medical examination and sign some paperwork. We’re an inpatient care facility. We can’t just let people leave work care whenever they want.”

    Insa frowned. ”If that is what you want there are somethings that need to happen back at the clinic first. Which we need you present for.”

    Insa stopped moving. ”I’m not gonna hurt. I won’t even touch you.” She glanced at Elan. “All we want is to get you back home. Back to safety.” @Ancient Elantrian

    Insa cautiously moved toward Aventine. “There’s my other patient.” She glanced around the room quickly taking it in.

    Insa slowly and quietly started to move towards the sound.

    Hey y'all. I'm rewriting a poem I wrote a couple years ago. I used a couple scriptures in it, and as I'm rewriting it, I would really love to use more. So this is the original poem. The title I gave it was The Greatest Gift. Also, I realize now that I may have quoted more than I realized, and cited, I suppose. If y'all think of any scriptures that could go with this, I would love it if you would share them! Thank you!

    You guys. 

    I can't do days.

    I thought today was Monday for a hot minute there.

    I have completely different schedules every day.

    I should be able to tell them apart.

    Devotional is on Tuesday. I attended an ice cream social thingy, which I knew was on Tuesday for like a week. 

    I don't start class until 12:45. Unlike on Monday, when I start at 9. 

    There was no reason for this confusion. I don't understand.

    "Alright, come with me, let's search the house." She motions to Elan. "You can come too."

    "I suppose." She motioned for him to come with her. "We really need to find your mom. Want to help?"

    Insa gave him a small smile. ”Only if it’s absolutely necessary. That’s part of what makes us different from him. We don’t hurt people unless we have to. Even if we think the might deserve it.”

    Insa laughed a little. "He most certainly does."

    Insa nodded. "Technically, yes. But you don't need to think of him that way if you don't want to."
