  1. Liv fired the handgun twice as she approached, not sure if she'd hit the thing or not. As the crowbar came down she tried to dodge backward.

    FANTASY-NO MAGIC

December seemed a little fazed at seeing April so emotional, but she didn't press it. She lead her through the door out of the throne room, which opened into a tight stairwell. At the bottom they were met with several of December's guards, who began escorting them out of the building. -------------- February took a quick glance around, the throne room had quickly fallen into chaos. He didn't need to worry about June and July, with March after them and the guards outside they weren't going anywhere. No, he would fix this one step at a time. Nice and simple, as it always was. He stepped around the table, ignoring October and August, and approached a guard who was standing nearby. He'd frozen in shock, uncertainty on his face. February drew the sword he had still sheathed at his hip without looking at him, and kept walking. He glanced up at the ceiling, where Arke was. He'd take care of the one first. Febraury threw the sword with surprising strength, and it flew up to the ceiling straight at Arke. @Ookla de los cuervos ------------ Not all of the guards where frozen unfortunately. It might be iffy to attack a month but no one would mind if someone took care of the other prisoners. A guard saw Niamh drew her knives, and rushed up to her to restrain her, reaching for her wrists. @Ookla the Inconclusive Another guard came after Rye, sword swinging. @Ookla Rye ----------- June was still gripping July's hand. They'd come to a stop at the end of the hall. March approached from the front, no longer in a rush. He clearly had them corned. The halls massive doors had opened and around a dozen soldiers were piling in to surround them. "What were you thinking?!" July yelled at June, struggling to pull away from his grip, "I don't have any weapons on me." "I wasn't really thinking," June said, his voice unnaturally calm, "It just felt right, so I did it." "June there's no way this will end well!" June just shrugged, he seemed distant. March smirked, "You kids ready to surrender yet or are you still having fun?"
  3. Liv stopped as Astra grabbed her, seeing the figure for the first time. She sucked in a breath, it was probably just Maria. Liv stayed with Astrid as she ran up, not wanting to be alone in this place. "Maria, is that you?" Liv shrieked when she saw the woman's face, half dissipated into mist. She pulled her handgun out of her belt, pointing it at the woman.

  5. Liv starting making her way towards the building they had just been in.
  6. "At least we didn't end up by the whole and accidentally fall in," Liv said. "Let's go back inside, I don't immediately see anyone else out here."
  7. She shrugged, "I'm not a physicist. Anyway, we need to be careful the document I found talked about concerningly regular disappearances . . ."
  8. "I have no idea . . . it's possible some kind of odd air current pushed the fog in, but I have no idea where the voice came from."
  9. "Nope I'm good, and the fog doesn't seem dangerous to me, I suppose you heard that loud voice too?
  10. "No idea, I found an important document but then fog came in through the window and covered everything," She explained. "Are you hurt? It's easier to trip in these conditions."
  11. "That's weird . . ." Liv continued to move in her direction. "That's you, right Astrid?!"
  12. "You think I know?" Liv yelled back. She started moving forward, following Astrid's voice
  13. Liv called out into the fog, she hadn't been too far away from the group when it'd hit. "Hello?!" @Ookla the Inconclusive
  14. She took a few breaths before deciding it was probably harmless, and dopped her collar. She pulled out her phone to double check the map.
  15. Liv shoved the document in her pocket, it'd no doubt be important later. She pulled her shirt up to cover her nose and mouth, but took a quick whiff first to see if the fog had a smell of any kind. This fog might have harmful chemicals in it.
  16. "Hey Maria, I found something," Liv called after scanning the paper. "Do you know anyone named Roost?"

    FANTASY-NO MAGIC

"It was June," October said, still holding August now. A wicked grin came onto his face. February glanced at the end of the hall, where June and July were fending off March (who was luckily still injured and sore from his battle with Arke). "Hmmmm," February mumbled, "I suppose someone ought to do something if Father's dead . . ." The sound of the gunshot rings loudly through the whole room, and the emperors body jerks as a bullet slams into it. February turned to December abruptly, his eyes still wide but a smile on his face, "You leave okay? Take April, I'll handle this." December nodded though she looked a little pale, "Don't . . ." "Don't what?" "You know," She replied turning away. December lead April to one of the back doors of the room, ushering her through.
  18. As it's already occupied she managed to get out of range. The knife goes in, but not very far. The mimic lets out another screech and takes it's now free pincer (the one that had just hit Lusha), and attempts to grab Dint to throw him off. (The other pincer is on heartache for those who've forgotten) @Ookla the Interdimensional @Ookla the Inquisitive

  20. Liv Ignored the hole and the computers, instead looking for any supply closets or personal items of workers. If she could find anything perishable, or something with an expiration date then they might have a better idea of how long the place had been empty.

    FANTASY-NO MAGIC

December gently took her hand and turned to get February as well, but he'd changed. He was standing ridged, fully awake and staring at his hand which had gotten covered blood. "Oh . . ." She said quietly, "This is really not a good time to wake up, sweetheart." A few bright red drops fall from his hand onto the tiles of the floor. He turned to look at the emperor's body, slumped against the desk. One of his eyes was closed because of scarring on his face, but the other was wide and full of shock. February turned to December, his face dark. "Who did this?"
