  1. Nera follows him. It's an incredibly tiny place. The first room is what might be a common room in other taverns, it had a small counter across from the door, and 2 tables crammed onto the remaining floor space. The walls were covered in shelves full of all sorts of junk and oddities, and you could see the kitchen directly behind the counter, just as full of stuff. A young dwarvish girl was in the middle of sorting trinkets on the counter, putting them in color-coded piles.
  2. "Well it's referring to something, and I'm not sure what else we've seen so far would fit, ideas?"
  3. "Oh, alright, if it'll work then I have nothing out worry about."

    FANTASY-NO MAGIC

August, May, April, and September made it to the front of the hall just as June, July, and Niamh were at the doors, both groups were together now. July made it to the doors first, he left June to lean against a wall while he tried to force open one of the large doors--it didn't move. Seeing this, February seemed to grow more anxious. "You're really going to run away again August? You know from experience that it doesn't end well!" He sounded desperate, like he actually wanted everyone to stay and talk things out. "Consider that my experience will lead me to succeeding this time!" August replied, as he heaved his shoulder against the door.
  5. He shrugged, "If I can get my hands on anything long, sharp, and strong enough to break those things, I'll be fine."
  6. "Ooooh, so you just have swords made out of a better metal," He concluded, "That's inconvenient."
  7. Liv read it, then went over to Astrid and handed it to her. "Look at this! It's talking about some kind of new anomaly appearing, I think . . . maybe it's the mist person we saw." @Through The Living Glass

September nodded. He was alright at running it seemed, but was nervous about running into things.

    FANTASY-NO MAGIC

They were halfway across now, and February hadn't seen them yet. None of the remaining soldiers went after them, as Months they weren't under their authority, and none of them wanted to take the risk.
  10. The lyrics of Am I Dreaming, from Across the Spider verse is so so good . . . I feel like it doesn't seem as good without the music to it though . . . so just look up the song and listen to it.

"What?" He whisper-yelled back as the ran down the hall.
  12. Liv looked with her, going back to the place where she'd found the document in her pocket--maybe there was more worth discovering. @The Bookwyrm

He waited another few seconds, then grabbed May's hand and starting running a long the outside edge of the room, avoiding the dias.
  14. Aki frowned, "What is a sword going to do against it if it's covered in plates of steel? Does it have weak points where to plates don't cover everything? I'm not going to snap my katana on something impenetrable. "

He scanned the room, calculating what move to make. "February looks distracted enough,"He finally said, "Let's see if we can run past and meet up with July." They make it 3 quarters of the way to the doors before February notices them. He doesn't move after them though, he's too busy keeping up with Arke. @Ookla de los cuervos

  18. Liv walked up to the glass, peering outside. "So, not all of the mist dissipated, interesting."

June and July nodded. They started running for the doors, and February didn't seem to notice. As the all entered, they could see June and July running for the exit.

The flat of her blade slammed into soldiers head, drawing a little blood. He stumbled back, letting go of July, who used the opportunity to twist free. He ducked away from the soldier, and went straight to June, steadying him. Inside she could see Niamh, June, and July's escape attempt, and Arke and February's duel. A few people lay on the ground, dead, injured or unconscious. August pushed the door open fully, and went in.

"Right," He said, trying to mask how unhappy he was with the arrangement. August lead them down the hall, turned a corner, and passed through a small door that looked like a servants passage. It made the route to the throne room much shorter. A few twists and turns later and he cracked open another small door that opened up behind the dais.

". . . In the throne room," He said, realizing he'd probably run into to February anyway. "At least, he was a moment ago." "Is there still a battle happening in their?" September asked, his voice fearful. "More like a duel, but I wouldn't call it safe," August replied.

"I'd rather just find July and run, February's not . . . I don't know, we should just go." He was so entranced in examining the fight between February and Arke that he didn't notice.
