  1. I am a bit upset about this chemistry lab. The purpose was to identify a hydrate, which was a bunch of blue crystal type things. The issue is, though, that my calculated water percentage is closest to that of Epsom Salt, which is most certainly not the hydrate we started with. In fact, it's probably copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate, which actually has a much lower water percentage than we calculated, meaning that either we messed up with the scale or we somehow lost a significant portion of the anhydrous compound during the heating process.

    I don't know how many of you are taking chemistry, but if you don't and you don't get this basically we messed up with the lab somehow and I don't know why :C

    On an unrelated note, despite being home sick for a while and really needing to do make up work, I have done approximately none. Which is bad. I just can't do things for some reason, and having all of this extra work to do actually makes the normal work harder too.
