“As good as this place is, it ain’t a dream,” Pic responded. “I’d slap you to prove the whole pain thing but that doesn’t look like it’d be helpful right now.”

Pic repeated the name along with the boy(?), summoned the 5 lines making the staff, and looped his own voice repeating the name. Following a few simplistic harmonies, a loop was formed that radiated comfort to those nearby. “Nice to meet you Pisces!” Pic replied. “The name’s Pic. How did you find this place?”

“Just keep making one noise for a while. It doesn’t matter what as long as you thing it’s calming.” “We heard them from here” Pic said, dismissing his speed loop. “We found you instead. What’s your name?”

“You are! Though technically I’m the one allowing you to do so,” Pic hummed to the bass note. “If you are able to copy my note and speak in this one it might help more? Also, what’s your name?”

Their aches and pains faded away as they spoke. Their resolve solidified slightly as well.

Pic modulated the note out of instinct to blend and harmonize with Sol, making an interesting descending melody. Instantly, Sol felt a few minor aches that she had fade for as long as she spoke that sentence. They returned, weaker, as soon as she stopped talking. Pic went back to holding the bass note.

“As I do things, the music may help me do the things better or faster. If more people are also singing, their help gets added as well and my music interacts with their magic.” Pic turns to the person with the headache. “Can you hum this note for me?” Pic hums a low bass note for them to copy.

Pic shifts his melody into a more soothing, calm tone, full of low notes.

Pic, still humming to the same tune, dashed in the same direction. “Never had time, really. I’m the wrong person to ask!” They rounded the corner and saw….

Pic was startled by the explosions and hummed quickly. The tempo of his song got rapid and he seemed to slide across the floor at high speeds. He drew 5 lines in the air and his melody was double tracked onto the staff. With a looping of the melody, he could keep up his speed and soon caught up to Sol. “Good thing you don’t, cause then I’d probably make whatever we are facing harder to fight by accident.”

“I know of no Haly, but I’ve been here a few weeks. Took advantage of the clinics training services and now have an… OK influence over my magic.” Pic stopped humming, almost as soon as he finished his statement. With noticeable effort, he spoke without a hum. ”You don’t happen to have any magic, do you? I was told to ask before humming around people.”

Pic nodded. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen a new face here!” he hummed to the strange tune. As he did so, the balls on the pool table began to rattle, and he abruptly stopped humming, then spoke again in a different tune, causing faint light to coalesce around him. “I’m Pic! What brings you to the clinic?”

Pic walked around the corner, humming a tune to himself. He walked with a confident gait that seemed to not line up with his movements. Was he gliding? He noticed the newcomer and smiled then sat down, still humming the same tune.

Glasses obtained. The work has gone from 1080p to 4K

Uhhhmm
If they have the 50 cent records, get some of those for sure. They are so fun to paint or hang on your wall. If you want a fun artist on them if you have a record player, get the hilltoppers.
In terms of book, if you havent read the hunger games you should do that for sure. Uhhhh
Other than that I dunno.

Alright, student teaching update!
Alright to all you high schoolers out there, y'all are great and y'all are worth it, but y'all are exhausting. Turns out that managing a class of 20-30 for hours on end takes a significant chunk of your brain power. You also have the potential to be the nicest, funniest, and most driven people on the planet. Use your strengths!
Anyway, I'm gonna be teaching my first lesson tomorrow on calorimetry and heat transfer, so wish me luck!
(PS for the rest of the day I'm pretty much just writing essay and cleaning and doing musics so if you ping I'll probably respond. Going to bed around 9 CST though so keep that in mind.)
