    • My drama class is doing a one act. We haven’t finished blocking yet, and… we compete February 3rd. Eek…

    • This week, I tried to type ‘emo’ and autocorrect changed it to ‘EoM’!!! I’m so happy!!!

    • Had an idea for ANOTHER storyline I’m working on. Haha.

    • Celtic Variations by Janice Kapp Perry is THE BEST cd we own. Unfortunately, it and the stereo are monopolized. By me. 

    • I’m playing volleyball in a stake tournament tomorrow!

    • Also, I’m just happy for no reason. 

    • Also, music is the best inspiration. You can quote me on that.

      Oh light yes. I have a class that isn't drama but almost all of my theatre friends are in it...our teacher used a phrase that's in a song for a musical we're all doing and we all started singing that line, it was hilarious but I kinda see why everyone hates theatre nerds now.

      Hah. I was THIS close to doing theater last year. Problem is, my speaking voice is apparently very difficult to hear. I don't work with teams well for the same reason. The only way anyone can hear me is when I play the c above the c above the staff on my flute. ;)

    “I don’t think it was one of us… but I don’t know, one of them could have been some kind of decoy—that applies to you too, I guess.” Her hand twitched.

    “Add them to the list of suspects.” She walked in a tight circle, thinking. “Who else have we seen? One person counted us when we got here, and the girl, and the guard…”

    “I see. Wish we had a mind reader or something. Did she say who her dad was? Besides that he’s the dead guy? Duke, earl, peasant?”

    “Either she killed that guy, or she saw who did. That’s sort of a given at this point, I guess.”

    She nodded. “The girl fainted?”

    Abihal excused herself from the conversation, ceased the music, and walked to Emerik. “Emerik, right?”

    “An agent to kidnap! They’re going to erase Essa’s involvement in this story. I read the prospective book—it’s bad. We have to kidnap her!” Incongruously, Mitis’s eyes were shining.

    “And what was that?”

    “Huh. Well, I guess—“ She was cut off as Mitis skidded into the room, then promptly fell over, then grabbed the counter to stand up. “It’s happening. It’s happening, Haly! Hurry up— we have an agent to kidnap!”

    “I doubt you’re a mercenary, if you faint at the sight of blood.”

    “Oh. Well, you were out for like five minutes. Does that happen a lot?”

    “You’re an… interesting person.” She tilted her head. “What do you do for a living?”

    She wrinkled her eyebrows. “What? I scared you?”

    “Oh, I’m not going to kill you. Or anyone, unless I’m hired to and have a good reason.” More instruments joined the flute, chimes and strings and stuff.

    She laughed. “I haven’t even bothered counting the times that has happened to me.”

    Eventually she knocked him with her elbow. “It’s time to… uh, eat? Or whatever it is you like to do.”

    “When you’re sneaking into a heavily guarded castle. When somebody calls for help when you’re trying to kill them. When you want to cry and don’t want anyone to hear you. I don’t know.”
