    There are a couple of relatively new ones that move pretty slowly. The Great Spirit role play is one of those— though I think it has a lot of lore… You're welcome to make a role play if you want to! Just know that a lot of rollerblades die out pretty quickly.

    Beosta translated the request as Bat shied away from Shoe. The woman stepped forward and dropped the soul into Beosta’s palm. “Thank you,” she whispered, clutching it. The woman moved to Bat and shoved a satchel at him, then said something in a clipped sounding language. Bat looked at the ground, nodded, and stepped towards Beosta and Shoe. Shall we go?

    It’s so funny to me… 

    How the difference between “I don’t want to live anymore” and “This isn’t so bad” can be defined by a tiny little capsule

    How mortality feels like nothing more than an elaborate prank 

    How we need a chemical drug produced by the brain to convince us that just living— keeping our lungs going, standing on our own two feet— is okay/ not so bad/ palatable. 

    As for tonight’s positives, I’m signing off before midnight.

      Mmmm I see where you come from.

      Most little capsules just help you regulate chemicals that have gotten out of wack, not give you new ones or stuff like that. If you have one that does that, it's because your challenge is extremely intense. But, regulating a deficiency that your brain has does not mean that life is not worth living and that you are artificially making your brain think things are better than they are.

      I'm glad you got off before midnight, but sleep also really helps your brain function normally, and a lack of it definitely is hard on a person. So, please try to sleep more.

      To be honest, Cellist, I probably wouldn’t be taking my meds again if I hadn’t found out that it just prevents my body from getting rid of seratonin I should have anyway. It doesn’t feel like such a cop out anymore. 

      And… yeah, I’m trying to sleep better.

    “That’s it?” Beosta asked. “I mean, you’ll owe us. Unofficially. For the great favor. But yes, that’s it.” “Deal!” A couple murmurs went through the crowd when the woman stepped forward and handed Beosta the sphere. The woman cast them all annoyed looks. “Take that useless lump,” she muttered, gesturing to Bat. Beosta opened her mouth to mention how not nice that was, then closed it. She didn’t want to risk the deal.
