Are you doing anything? That us what I do it for. Going to peoples houses.

Ya that's what I figured you were doing it for. Another reason I'm not dressing up is because I don't have friends and I want to do other stuff when my family is out "trick-or-treating". Like go running or eat candy or sleep.

  2. Imma try to list mine since I've never seen this before. I feel like I don't have many hobbies I can do, but I have a lot of stuff I want to do.

    Spoiler

    1. Writing

    a. Creating magic systems

    b. Worldbuilding

    c. Learning about how to write

    2. Eating food

    3. Playing card/board games

    4. Running

    5. Working out

    6. Daydreaming stories

    7. Guns

    8. Watching random YT vids

    9. Politics when I feel like it

    10. Exploring

    11. Hiking

    12. Hunting

    13. Listening to podcasts

    14. Reading

    15. Listening to music

    16. Eventually showing up on the Shard

  3. I never really do it very devotedly, and since I'm leaving for two years I'm less devoted. I am going to try to write at least a couple hours every week in November though, just to have a few ideas down for when I get back and start to try to become a real author.

  4. Oh, I forgot about that, mainly because I'm not considered a youth anymore. Lol. I do want to share my testimony of Jesus Christ though, and just God and faith overall. Life is a lot harder when you don't put meaning to it. God gives my life meaning and sort of a drive behind everything I do. I love serving others (most of the time when I'm not grumpy) and I appreciate what God has done for me.

In like a month and a half I'm leaving on a mission, which is super exciting but kinda scary, so I probably won't be posting many more comments on the shards for 2-ish years, but I've loved hanging out.

  5. I do what it seems like a lot here do. I daydream a lot, but don't necessarily use those ideas for stories. I think it just helps me learn to develop stories kinda like practice. Also try a bit of discovery writing even if you're not a discover writer. It'll help you come up with ideas.

Read books, go on hikes, talk to friends/family/neighbors.

    Pretty much anything helps.

Idaho's good too. Speaking of which, apparently you guys get a two week fall break for spud harvest?? In the 21st century?? Lucky!!

I will be there and I will find anyone who is willing to find me (looking at you Elan @Ancient Elantrian) but I'll also be with my mom and a lady and her granddaughter from my ward, who are all great people, but there may be some strange conversations.

I'll probably be wearing my purple "ask me about the cosmere" shirt unless I get more sando shirts soon.

Spud harvest? Never heard of a break for that. Maybe in some parts

I've really enjoyed the album since release day! I'm not sure I like it better than CLOUDS, but they do different things for me. It's also not my favorite album of the year so far. (That's a tie between Touzisya by EGOIST and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Original Score) by Daniel Pemberton.) Still, Hope is great in all the ways it needs to be, and adds a lot of flavor on a pretty stinkin' flavorful year for music.

    Favorites:

    "HOPE"

    "PANDAMONIUM"

"TURN MY BACK" (One of my themes for the Cradle book series.)

"LET EM PRAY" (Another one of my themes for the Cradle book series.)

    "RUNNING"

Those are some of my favs too. I’m not sure what my favorite is. Maybe HOPE, HAPPY, or CAREFUL. Clouds is a good album.
