So I wanted to make something involving a satanic ritual dish thingy AS A JOKE from a little clay dish and some of the nice air dry clay today. I started making the little characters a little earlier while I was outside. So far, I have a froggy and a chicken. And then when i come inside from being outside (as one does), my grandmother very quickly confronts me about an email she had received from my pottery teacher about how I mentioned practicing witchcraft in the description of one of my projects and that he was concerned. This was referring to a luminary candle holder that i was trying to make. I was making little eyes, because it was a representation of my social and regular anxiety. So, considering that I have never actually practiced witchcraft before, nor put it in the description of my luminary project, this is what I am assuming had happened: I was talking with someone at my table about how on the Shard, there is a thread about "witchcraft" even though it's literally just us joking around and calling each other witches. The teacher must have heard a bit of the conversation and assumed that I practiced witchcraft. He probably then associated the eyes with witchcraft. ANYWAY, now my grandma won't let me finish the dish until i do something (I forgot what it is).
