OSJAKJLWJKSNWS AHHHHHHHHH I AM LITERALLY FREAKING OUT RN
AND IT'S NOT IN A BAD WAY!!!!
The fifth season of The Dragon Prince was released early yesterday and I'm watching it rn, and-
PWISAKJNLKDWJSNLJ ITS SO GOOD!! *distant squealing*
the following information has some of my thoughts and a few spoilers :3 (although I'm still only at the fifth episode of the new season, sooo...)
Spoilerokay, first off-
GENERAL AMAYA CAN SPEAK?!? in the fourth episode of the fifth season, she legit says "go" when all the shadow-creature thingies attack everyone- I legit thought she was a mute, but I'm pretty sure she's just deaf- WAIT BUT THEN HOW DOES SHE KEEP UP IN CONVERSATIONS WITHOUT THE REDHEAD- LIKE THERE ARE MULTIPLE INSTANCES WHERE SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANYONE SIGNING EVERYTHING IN THE CONVOS AND SHE'S JUST LIKE: "pfft, whaaat? Yeah, I can understand you just fine, idk wut ur talkin' 'bout. *british* Oh, pish-posh! Of course I'm deaf! uh-wait- nevermind I can't understand you, what are you saying? SIGN IT, YOU IMBICILE!!" (I'm just joking, none of that "quote" (hehe- ironic) ever actually happened lol) (BUT IT'S FUNNY!!)
and is it just me, or does it seem like Viren doesn't want/like to do dark magic anymore? he seemed so hisitant to do it the first time since he became uh, not-dead.

ALSO- this new seoson had a HECK of a lot more creepy scenes-
AND THERE'S ✨PIRATES✨!!!!!
Also this is by far my favorite scene in the entire series so far (it's at the beginning of S5 E5):
SpoilerFish Lady: "*in an elderly-sounding country accent* AeaAuWahaAeEaAhH!! Ah. You must be the strangest family of talking hermit crabs I ever saw."
Soren: *grunting* "My muscles are always too big for things." *falls out of a giant hermit crab shell*
Rayla: "It's nice to see you finally coming out of your shell."
Callum: *gives Rayla a fist bump*
Fish Lady: "AeAaH"
Ezran: (as if the fact that the Fish Lady didn't just save them all from a bunch of giant birds-) "Oh, hi! Are you the legendary Archmage Akiyu?"
Fish Lady: (she sounds completely nuts lol, but that's just my opinion) (i guess that's why I find her hilarious :3) "Akiyu? ... AhehAhahahAAAAHEHehEh!!! Do I look like a legendary Archmage?"
Ezran: "I try not to judge, but uh, no."
Fish Lady: "Folks call Tidebound Tina."
Ezran: "Can you help us find Akiyu? We need her help."
Tina: *ahem* *pulls out a shell thing (ALL HAIL THE MAGIC CONCH!!! OLOLOLOLOOLLODODOLOO!!!!!!!) *blows twice* "Oh wise and very dangerous archmage, master of the briny deep. Some people are here to see you. *pauses* who should I tell her you are?"
Soren: "A ragtag squad of bold adventurers"
Tina: "Some ragtag weirdos. Mhm. Right? That's what I thought. *turns back to Soren, Callum, Rayla, and Ezran* No chance!"
Callum: "
Wait, can I talk a second?"Tina: "No no no-no, it's ✨MY✨ conch!"
Ezran: "Please. Tell the archmage the world is in peril. *goes on to explain why the world is ending, as if this is just an every-day thing (well, i guess it kind of is-)*"
Callum: "You shouldn't be telling her this. You should be telling the archmage. We're going to go see her. and you're not stopping us."
Tina: "✨mIsTaKe!✨ She'll probably kill you. And if not, she'll kill me. Don't say I didn't warn you. *smiles*
hehehehe
Fish Lady is definitely starting to lose her marbles lol
