  2. Amyra Ay prepared herself, getting into a protective stance. We will win, Aerie sang in a childish voice. I know, Amyra said, As long as I don't screw this up.
  3. Amyra heard someone else approach too. She was very apprehensive as she crouched down, another figure coming into view behind Aekalohan. Blood! Aerie whispered, excited. My blood, Amyra muttered, a little more nervous than her spren.
  4. Amyra Ay left the hut, clutching her shardblade. She had to find Wren. Making her way along the edges of the chasms, which grew in size, she heard a distant, muffled sound. Walking carefully across the sand dunes, she sensed someone was near.
  5. @Aeoryi (I'd be up for a battle with your character if you'd like- where do you want to meet)
  6. Amyra carefully deposited her water into ditch in the hut, covering it across the top so it would be a little less noticeable. Now, she could summon Aerie as her shardblade. She had a fight to win. @shortcake
  7. Amyra walked outside cautiously, and searched for a place to bury the water.
  8. Amyra pulled her shardbucket inside the ruby hut, now that it was filled with water. I don't even get acknowledgement? Aerielle said, as the shardbucket. Thank you, Amyra rolled her eyes, Now... I need you in order to fight. That's a problem, isn't it? Yes. Where should I keep this water? No idea. Bury it? Not smart. Yeah. And they were left at a standstill again.
  9. Amyra had no luck finding anything to hold water. Wow. I feel so ignored, Aerie muttered. Oh right. Amyra summoned a shardbucket and placed it outside of the hut, waiting for it to fill.
  10. Amyra realized that this was her only chance. The water would soak into the sand. She looked at her clothing for some sort of container.
  11. Amyra Ay nodded. You're right, Aerie. I know. I need to save this water. As I said. Right. Right. They were quiet for a moment. So, Amyra began, should I go outside and collect the rainwater? In the highstorm? Aerielle asked. Yes. Are you stupid? Possibly, Amyra said, sighing. I'll wait it out a bit. I'll go out sometime closer to riddens.
  12. Amyra Ay breathed in Stormlight. She would need it for surgebinding... not that she was that great at it, anyway. I really should find a few stormlight-infused items for later... She thought, searching around the hut. She couldn't just chip away at the hut, of course. And water, Aerielle chimed in. Right. Well, at least it was raining a lot during the high storm. Storms. Amyra hadn't ever been through this much stress back at home.
  13. Aren't you forgetting something? Aerielle taunted as Amyra sat down in the hut. What? Guess. This isn't a time for games, Aerie. You have time. Not really. What am I forgetting? Be resourceful. Oh. Stormlight, is that it? Amyra looked around. The spren had a point... She would need to prepare for her first fight.
  14. Amyra looked around the hut. At least she was safe here. For now. Any idea what you'll do next? Aerielle said. Wait it out, I suppose. Aw, boring. The spren complained. Do you want me to die? Aerie didn't answer, so Amyra took that as a no. She sat down and caught her breath, hearing the fierce winds outside.
  15. The storm hit immediately, and Amyra ran into the hut. She didn't have the time to check if her opponent followed her. Youre welcome. Aerie replied. (What does she see-?)
  16. Amyra Ay quickly glanced behind her at the ruby hut, before turning back to watch the figure who she was supposed to fight. What do you think, Aerie? She asked. Let's go into the hut. I like that idea. Aerielle replied. But the fighting? Amyra pointed out. Do you trust me? Aerie asked. No. Okay. Well you asked for my opinion. It was incredibly helpful. Amyra muttered, before looking over her shoulder again, and rushing towards the ruby hut. The highstorm was approaching, and she could sprint fast. She would have to fight her opponent later.
  17. Storms. Amyra Ay thought. Just I was going to suggest an alliance. She would be up against the person standing in front of her. And that person had a knife. It's fine. You can do this. What if that person was a career? She'd have no chance... Couldn't there be some sort of solution? Perhaps... perhaps she should hide or bury the seeds. She just stood there, a far enough distance apart, waiting for the unknown figure from district 10 to make a move. 10 heartbeats. Her knuckles whitened as they clutched the hilt of her sword. "So... Are we actually doing this?" She knew one thing. She would win. She had to.
  18. As Amyra ran towards the mountainous caves, she noticed someone pull themself up over the ledge. Immediately, she drew her sword and got into a protective stance as they approached. "Who are you?" Amyra asked, cautious. She wouldn't die. Not in the first round.
  19. Amyra senses a storm rising. She quickly scans her surroundings, and sprints towards some mountains on the side of the open sand plains. She could find shelter there. Possibly food, as the moisture that gathers by the cliff caves potentially could allow for plant life to grow.
  20. Amyra lifted herself up to the final ledge, and surveyed the intricate workings of the chasms. Of course, the outlines of more cliffs and mountains surrounded her, but this far-reaching plain of sand dunes would give her an advantages. Okay. Time to look for water. She looked up at the outlines of mountains. This place can't be fully dry, right? There has to be a water source somewhere... Some sort of oasis in the endless sand. Wherever there is plant life, there is water. Amyra knew that much from her agriculture district. She thought she saw some green trees in the far distance. So she set out in that direction. Hoping it wasn't just a mirage.
  21. Amyra Ay was approaching the top of the cliff. Just. Don't. Slip. She could see much more now. No one was in sight, but she heard a few fierce animals in the distance.
  22. Amyra Ay looked around. Damn it. She quickly crouched down to the hot sand quickly as an arrow sailed over her head. She shoved her gift into her pocket and sprinted through the chasm, going through unknown, smaller corridors until she found a clear area, without any other tributes or animals. It was open on both sides, allowing an immediate escape if needed. She couldn't be cornered. No one was in sight. She looked up at the intimidating cliffs around her. Okay, I guess we're doing this. She rolled her eyes and found an area that sloped a bit more than the rest. She grasped the ledges and pulled herself up, climbing to reach higher ground. Food. I need to find food, water, and my allies. @Justice_Magician @Channelknight Fadran @Canada Lover
