Iola's heels tapped quickly across the long, cold halls of the Derose Palace. She was shaking her head furiously. Everything had gone wrong. So, incredibly wrong. Yinsun, the other Havel sent on this mission, ran after her. He started ripping away at his outfit. That of a butler. He was muttering into his transmitter. They needed to get out. Claude was still inside the room, coughing up his final breaths. He only shot two of the heirs. House Derose was falling, yes, but the people were rioting. This wasn't the plan. It was too late to save Claude. Way too late. And the five other Ancasians were trapped in that room. "The bargain," Iola muttered, untying her apron as she urgently made her way to the back gates of the palace. Her disguise would slow her down. This was an emergency. Where were the others? The House Ancasia was supposed to be in the room, making sure everything went smoothly. To protect him. To ensure an escape root. "To hell with the bargain. We need all of Ancasia off Drukarus," Yinsun whispered violently under his breath. "Protection. We were sent for protection," Iola scoffed, punching in coordinates on the transmitter. They ran out into the open air. All they could see was a plain of blood. The rebellion had made its way into the palace. It was then that Iola stopped in her tracks. The realization came upon both of them at the same time. "Curse me." Iola spun on her heels to face Yinsun. Yinsun gripped the hilt of his sword, his knuckles turning white. He just nodded, his eyes showing pure devastation and fear. He heaved a sigh and immediately ran back inside the palace. Iola took one last glance at the sky, knowing that it would most likely be the last time she saw it. Then, she followed after him, into the palace which would be her grave. Their lives weren't as important as the three royal children who had snuck onto this mission. If Iola and Yinsun returned alive, but the royals, dead, they would be executed. Curse those Draecins. Why must the three have come? They weren't supposed to. They were so young. Only teenagers. Wanting excitement. And now this. No. They had to save them. Or at least try to. They ran up the staircase. The rebellion was everywhere, along with the royals. Blood was spraying. Death was narrowly avoided. They were right there. Just about to reach the dining room, where the Ancasians were trapped. And then Yinsun heard a scream from behind him. Iola was stabbed through the stomach, gasping for air, then falling limp. In a flash of fury, Yinsun attacked the Serpentarii who had stabbed her. But another snuck up from behind him. It was too late. His eyes grew wide once he saw the rebel approach. His reflexes to even have the chance to react. His scull was smashed open, and he fell on the staircase, slippery and wet with blood. He placed a weak hand on his head. It was sticky and red. He looked at Iola, dead beside him. And breathed his last staggered breath. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amyra Ay sent a glance to her cousin, Aeryn Ancasia. They exchanged a smile underneath the table cloth. The conversation was getting heated. Claude was bound to kill the heirs anytime now. Such an intricate plan. Such an intelligent betrayal. Amyra's twin, Arielle, had found out about their plan to get aboard the ship, and just insisted on coming along. Arielle threatened telling their grandfather, and so she was let aboard.Of course, Arielle made it her mission to ruin everything about it for Amyra. But Amyra didn't mind. She and Aeryn hesitated under the table. They had waited the entire dinner. Soon, the conversation escalated. Aeryn clutched Amyra's arm with anticipation. BANG! Arielle tugged on the tablecloth. BANG! Arielle looked over to Amyra with an evil smile. BANG! This wasn't a gunshot. No. It was Claude, getting thrown to the ground. Arielle swiftly moved back. She was uncertain. When she looked again at her twin, it was with eyes of fear. Amyra didn't make eye contact with Arielle. Chaos. Arielle stumbled out from underneath the table. No one noticed her in the discord. Her knees and hands were painted red from the blood seeping into the rug of the dining room. ---------- Claude was struggling to fight Judas. For a moment, he turned his head. He faced the table, his head pushed towards the ground. There was a split second before the final blow. Before coughing up his last words and spitting out blood. And in that moment, he locked eyes with Amyra. Claude's eyes grew wide. Amyra looked at him with interest from her place underneath the table. Her lips parted ever so slightly. There, as she made eye contact, she almost pleaded with the vulnerable Claude. Questioning him. As if to say, You will die. Why would you do such a thing? He answered. "For the people." Amyra lingered there a second longer. Her mouth formed what could be seen as a smile. Her cousin, Aeryn, tugged on her. Amyra quickly ran out with her. They dashed into the halls and escaped into an unoccupied side room. The sounds of screams echoed. Arielle was already in the room, leaning back against the wall and breathing heavily. Amyra looked at her arms. They had been scraped up in all the chaos, and the blood dripped onto the rug of the small sitting room. Aeryn shut the door and locked it, then ran to Amyra's side. Arielle's face shriveled up in disgust when she saw her twin. "How'd you even manage? I knew you were reckless, but that's gonna leave scars." Arielle laughed under her breath. Amyra ignored her. She also ignored the wounds, but Aeryn insisted on treating them. Amyra tried to think of some sort of plan while the rest of the palace became a blood bath. Aeryn ripped off the rim of her clothes, creating a temporary bandage which she deftly wrapped around Amyra's arms to stop blood flow. Amyra resisted, but Aeryn gave her a stern look. "I won't let you bleed dry. Not after all that work of saving your life." Amyra gave in and let her cousin treat the scrapes. A message crackled on Amyra's transmitter. Send me your coordinates. I'm in the Drukarus airfield. All three of them heaved a small sigh of relief. It was Theo, Aeryn's twin. He was let in on the mission and agreed to standby. Aeryn must have sent an SOS signal to him earlier when the plan went askew. Amyra smiled and sent their coordinates back to Theo. They pulled up the large window in the room. Outside, there was dust and blood. All they could see were infinite rioters storming the palace. Soon, they saw the small ship that Theo had most likely stolen from the Ancasia hangar. Theo approached the window, and opened the ship door. Arielle pushed her way inside the ship first, of course. Then Aeryn went in, and she helped Amyra up. The door shut, and the ship evacuated the area, back to Karal. "Aha! Who just saved all of your lives out there??" Theo said, grinning as he haphazardly drove the ship through the cluster. "Too soon." Arielle groaned. That shut him up. No one dared talk for the next few hours. Soon enough, Amyra couldn't stand Theo's driving. She threw up her hands in exasperation, and crossed into Theo's seat to take over the controls. "I love danger, but getting in a ship with you is just plain suicide." Theo pouted and climbed to the back, but couldn't help laughing under his breath. They continued on their way back to Karal.

The following documents have been leaked from recent Ancasian records. Aurelia Natalya, her family, and her entourage has returned from Drukarus. Immediately, Aurelia Natalya went to her desk, without saying a word to the House Ancasia. She sat down, and picked up her royal transmitter. A transmission is sent to House Min'oTaar. Only @Unintelligenius may see this message. Others must use a spy action. A ship leaves Karal.

This is a record of the conversation between House Ancasia and House Derose earlier. --------------------------------- Aurelia Natalya spoke first. "We are so glad to be able to be here, House Derose.” Fiona nods to her, the entire royal family sits around the end of the banquet table. They all stand over the contract waiting for it to become official. Aurelia Natalya sat down at the head of the table. The Ancasian heirs sat on either side of her at the table, watching her read through the contract. The Ancasian guards kept close watch, while the officials wrote everything down. Aurelia Natalya set down the alliance, looked up, and addressed the room. “Before we sign the alliance, let us negotiate a few terms. We expect that your troops are to be at our aid when called for," Aurelia Natalya said, with a hint of admonition. Headmistress Fiona looks up to her eldest daughter and first heir to the throne, Eleanor. She undoubtedly has incredible skill in leading military forces. Eleanor nods back. “We do agree.” “Of course, we will offer the same," Emresse Janesse said. "Yes. Our troops will automatically come to each other's aid if the other is being attacked," Elwyn Jacquos added. A pause lingered at the table before one of the heirs spoke up. "However, the same is not offered if one of us declares war on someone else." Elwyn Calsandro said, firmly. Fiona raises her eyebrow. “No aid for declaration of war?” "Not at first," Elwyn Calasandro corrected. “This is, obviously, unless you ask specifically for resources from us, in which case we would be happy to provide you with assistance," Elwyn Jacquos said. "This goes both ways in the alliance, of course.” Aurelia Natalya said from the head of the table. She twirled the pen in her hands as she looked straight into Fiona's eyes. Fiona seems skeptical of this, but this is an excellent alliance to have. “We also expect that our houses will combine our technical and tactical resources along with special, high intelligence or artificial intelligence when requested." Aurelia Natalya continued. "Each year, we will organize a trading deal between our Houses to ensure the maintenance of the alliance," Elwyn Alesandresa said. Fiona nods and the director of the trade department also nods from the other side of the room. “What would you have to offer, and what is it that you lack?" Aurelia Natalya asked. “We specialize in steel making and construction of valuable metals, however we do not have a well developed starship making industry. In trade for transportation we could offer steel and valuable metals.” Fiona presses her fingertips together. This seems to be a stable alliance to her. Elwyn Miraben began to speak, but was shut down by his mother when he saw her glare. "Our fuel resources aren't nearly fully developed, we must admit. Our transportation is also not developed to its full potential." Aurelia Natalya revealed. "However, we are working towards new solutions to transportation." Emresse Tatianya added. "Yes. We have a large aerospace industry and research into effective spaceships for war. We actually have been..." Aurelia Natalya glanced around quickly and lowered her voice. "We've been trying to develop a... say, newer technology for our aerospace industry. One that shoots ships at incredibly high speeds. It hasn't been successful yet, but our research developers are working hard and approaching a product. We would be willing to combine our efforts with yours to assist in your transportation. However, we have less need for valuable metals, as we have caves with mining materials within them. Do you have any fuel resources? If not, we also are lacking in artificial intelligence, hacking and computer work, and FTL communication systems." Judas, eldest son of Fiona, speaks up. “Yes we do currently have very fast working communication and AI terminals. Using our communication and trade departments we can easily send your resources.” Atlas Derose steps forward raising his hand slightly. “We are currently looking into expanding our research and trade terminals to find new ways to make Axiom and Maxim Crystals if possible, or simpler ways to gain it.” "Perfect. So, each year, we will meet with you to share our latest transportation advancement and development," Ereso Celestin summarized. He looked over to Elwyn Jacquos who gave him a reassuring nod. "Meanwhile, you will share the limited resources for FTL you have now." Elwyn Alesandresa reminded House Derose, looking into Fiona's eyes. "This way it will provide insurance that the alliance will be mutually beneficial. Our houses rely on each other." Emresse Janesse explained hastily, with a soft voice. Claude's face goes slightly darker. He doesn’t like this agreement, not one bit. Hardly beneficial in his opinion. It's all going to give the people even more reason to rebel. Fiona however nods. Getting a proper alliance at this time could be crucial to continuing to control the planet they are currently on and researching new methods of FTL faster. Aurelia Natalya smiled. "That is acceptable. Elwyns?" All four nodded. Elwyn Calsandro seemed a little upset, and Elwyn Miraben just looked annoyed that he couldn't speak. Elwyn Alesandra and Elwyn Jacquos both were quite happy with the agreement, however. Aurelia Natalya then looked at Emresse Janesse, Ereso Celestin, and Emresse Tatianya. They all politely confirmed that they were satisfied with the negotiation. After the Royal Council and Royal Advisory weighed in their opinions, which took considerably long, the House Ancasia had come to a consensus among themselves. This was a beneficial alliance. Avian Zephyr set a comforting hand on Aurelia Natalya's arm. She looked at him, smiling. Her husband had been very quiet the entire meeting, for he knew she had to concentrate. She placed her hand over his for a moment, then took the pen and placed it at the line waiting for House Ancasia's signature. The Aurelia looked at the heirs, back at House Derose, then, without hesitation, signed extravagantly on the paper. Fiona brings the pen down to the paper signing the contract, one by one each heir signed the paper alongside her. A new public alliance is made. It was then that Elwyn Jacquos received an urgent message on his transmitter. His eyes widened, and he got up from his chair. Then, he walked up to Aurelia Natalya and whispered something in her ear. She stood up, addressing her house royals, advisory, council, the guards, and the government officials. "Our representatives sent to Nexus have been attacked. Emresse Marianla Ancasia is the only survivor. We have lost Emresse Xandin, along with multiple government officials and Ancasian warriors." Aurelia Natalya announced. A silence fell over the room, and the Ancasians bowed their heads. The House Aurelia turned to the House Derose. "There has been an attack on Nexus during the conference. The capitol has been nuked by House Yaelar, and the capitol is now in the hands of the Ydras. If you excuse us, we will leave by evening today. Thank you for hosting us. We are honored to have this alliance, and look forward to our future partnership. House Ancasia, you have one hour until we depart for Karal." Avian Zephyr sent a transmission through the radio back to House Ancasia, letting them know of their near departure from Drukarus. The Deroses nod and Eleanor quickly picks up the edge of her dress and runs off towards the communication offices. -------------- Meanwhile, another small ship is launched from Karal.

House Ancasia sends a message to @NerdyAarakocra

As the Ancasian ship returning from Nexus finally landed on Karal, a solemn scattering of people greeted Emresse Marianla. She stepped down, head bowed. Aurelia Evlyn Ancasia slowly walked up to Emresse Marianla. Emresse Mariala looked up, apologetic. "You are not to blame," Aurelia Evlyn said, coldly. Emresse Marianla thanked her and the Aurelia left the hangar with her guards. Once Aurelia Evlyn was out of sight, Emresse Marianla's twin, Emresse Viol Ancasia, rushed to her. They embraced, and a few tears ran down Emresse Marianla's cheeks. She quietly apologized to Xandin's wife, Ereso Yusra, and walked back home to her children with Ereso Siensa Brize. ------------------------------------------------ This, however, was not a major loss. None of the heirs or Aurelias were compromised. They really had only lost one royal. One royal and a few officials and guards. The House Ancasia focused on moving on to other critical matters. Aurelia Natalya was scheduled to return with the heirs in a few days, and they were awaited expectantly. Meanwhile, Aurelia Evlyn spent time at her desk receiving important transmissions from the previously launched ships.
-
As Emresse Marianla saw the frantic escape of the houses around her, she knew what was happening. They would be destroyed. The Ancasian guards burst in, not even heeding the metal detectors, and rushed to her, but she just waved them silent. She knew. She just calmly picked up her radio transmitter, and sent this to House Ancasia: Nexus is no longer safe. We may not return home. Then she glanced over to her cousin, Emresse Xandin. He was shooting worried looks to the officials. She lowered her voice into the transmitter, tears almost forming in her eyes. Goodbye. Over. Click. Emresse Marianla set down the transmitter. She surveyed the room, then looked outside one of the windows. Armies were marching to the capitol, attacking. Something bright was approaching the planet. Of course. Nukes. She abruptly stood up, and grabbed Xandin. They had to escape. There was a small window of time before they all were obliterated. They had to escape now. "There's a chance..." She muttered to herself as she rushed him outside the building. The gates were closed, so she turned around and took a back exit. There were armies surrounding the building. She couldn't go out from any of those exits. Emresse Marianla saw a staircase. Though some assistants tried to hold her back from accessing the higher levels, she pushed them away, dragging Emresse Xandin with her. He tried to keep up as she ran to the top of the building. Alarms sounded. A few Ancasian guards tried to follow them, but fell behind. The other guards tried to take the Ancasiam government officials somewhere safe. There was no where to hide. Emresse Marianla made it to the top and opened a hatch, breaking out of the building. She transmitted an emergency message to the ship, letting the pilot know of her location. The ship quickly approached and the pilot grabbed her, lifting her inside with one hand, keeping the other on the controls. Emresse Xandin was clinging on to Emresse Marianla's hand. He was hanging onto Emresse Marianla as she struggled to pull him inside as well. All of a sudden, the nukes hit the planet. the entire capitol shook. The air was filled with smoke and toxins. Emresse Marianla tried her best to keep her grip on Emresse Xandin. But then... He slipped. Emresse Marianla watched Emresse Xandin fall down to Nexus. Helpless. She tried to jump down from the ship, which had already been launched, but was pulled back by the pilot. "No. It's too late." The pilot said. Emresse Marianla could do nothing but watch from above as the Ancasian guards and government officials screamed. Most importantly, she watched as Emresse Xandin, her own cousin, fell, awaiting his fate. They were partners for this meeting. He had trusted her. Why did she think she could save him? She took the pilot's transmitter. Marianla to Ancasia. I am the sole survivor. She hesitated. Over.
-
It was now that Emresse Marianla Ancasia stood up. "House Ancasia agrees with the sentiment that King Adonis previously presented. We believe there should be some form of compensation. However, it is controversial to punish for war. Retreat does not mean surrender. We should use what has happened as an example to set for future occurrences. Any direct attacks on government buildings, such as this bombing, would be a declaration of war. We suggest to have House Yaeler compensate the Great Houses for these acts of violence if they wish not to make such delcaration." She sat down politely. Her guard kept close watch. Emresse Xandin gave her a short nod of approval.
-
Emresse Xandin leaned in and whispered to Emresse Marianla something about trust. Emresse Marianla nodded. A smile played on her lips. As if Emresse Xandin said something humorous. She suppressed it, however. Stay quiet. This is important. The Ancasian guard tensed up as she watched the recording. Emresse Marianla noticed but said or commanded nothing.
-
Emresse Xandin Ancasia sat up in his seat. He was muttering to himself. He leaned in to one of his officials, about to say something under his breath. He was quickly cut off by Emresse Marianla Ancasia, as she glared at him. Once they made eye contact, she gave a small warning motion with her hand and Emresse Xandin decided to stay quiet. The three officials were furiously keeping track of everything that was being said.
-
Emresse Marianla just gestured at the guards. One of them transferred their weapons to another guard, and stepped through the detector. Emresse Marianla followed closely behind, and the officials did the same. The rest of the guards just peacefully surrounded the premises, waiting in case there was sign of trouble. Emresse Marianla was seen clicking on a transmitter in her ear. No weapons. "Thank you," she said curtly to the assistant as she passed through the detector and went inside. Emresse Xandin was there, waiting for her.
-
"I assume I can bring along the officials. What of my protection?" Emresse Marianla nodded to the Ancasian guards.
-
An Ancasian ship lands. The daughter of the heir, Emresse Marianla Ancasia, steps out, along with the son of another heir, Emresse Xandin Ancasia. They are accompanied by guards and some officials. Emresse Marianla just eyes one of Clorg's assistants. She glances between the assistant and the metal detector. "Non-metallic weapons?" She asks. Emresse Xandin just walks past her through the detector with a straight, emotionless face. It does not go off. But once a guard tries to follow him, he is restricted by the alarm. Emresse Marianla raised an eyebrow at the assistant, expectant for an answer.
-
House Ancasia requests an appearance at this meeting.
-
Aurelia Natalya smiled and gently bowed her head. "Thank you, Headmistress Fiona. We are honored to be here." Then, she followed the House Derose as they were escorted down the lavish halls, the House Ancasia following closely behind her. ----------- Meanwhile, the planet Karal has been showing signs of multiple research experiments, and small test decoys were seen being launched from the planet and burning. A new ship leaves, and many broken-up radio transmissions are heard returning back to the home planet. Also, most importantly, confidential radio transmissions have been leaked from House Ancasia to other houses. Unfortunately, the vital information is broken up and glitchy, meaning they're from far away. It has to be [BZZZ]. That's [BZZZZZZZZ] said. [BZZ]'d know [BZZZZZZZZZZZZ] to lie. [BZZZZZ] shipment [BZZZZZZZZZ] incredibly valuable. Wait, [BZZZZZZZZ] detected some[BZZZZ]. Yes! It's [BZZ], in the [BZZZZZ] cluster.
-
House Ancasia replies almost immediately. A message buzzes from the planet of Karal. Aurelia Evlyn Ancasia's voice is heard through the transmitters. House Ancasia would be honored to attend. A simple confirmation of the invitation. Polite enough, but not completely trusting. Aurelia Evlyn subtly smiled and nodded as she clicked off the transmitter. "Aurelia?" An attendant asked. The high Aurelia just rose and began to leave. Before closing the door, she turned back to address the attendant. "Add an event to my schedule, would you?" "Of course. What priority is the event?" She paused for a moment, considering. "Very Important."
-
Two royal ships landed on Drukarus, bearing the Ancasian seal. An elegant, tall, Draecin stepped out. The monarch, Aurelia Natalya Ancasia. She had her hair done up in a bun, secured by an extravagant, delicate flower. She was accompanied by her husband, her two sons, her niece, her nephew, and several other members of the Ancasian royal family. The ship also carried many government officials, and security. Certain selected members of the Royal Council and Advisory arrived in the ships alongside the royals. A few highly specially warriors were brought in for protection. It was an incredibly high honor that not only did one of the Aurelias herself arrive in Drukarus, but also all four Elwyns, the only heirs to the thrown. This left the very lineage of the royal family vulnerable, so the they took many safety precautions. Elite warriors were in front, behind, and to the sides of the royal family as soon as they stepped down from the ships. All Ancasians acknowledged how much trust and respect the presence of the Royal Council, Advisory, Elwyns, and an Aurelia meant. But it also called for more protection. Ancasian guards were seen spreading out on the premises, taking careful watch. Everyone on the planet Karal realized the great respect that House Ancasia was representing by bringing in the highest royals themselves. This was rarely done. The most important members of the Ancasian government were all on foreign territory. And they brought security with them, along with previous detailed planning. Aurelia Natalya smiled as she felt the cool air of Drukarus. On Aurelia Natalya's either side were her sons. One, Elwyn Miraben, seemed humorous and relaxed. He smiled as he observed the icy landscape of the planet. He was joking and laughing the entire way to Drukarus, but he just grinned now. The other, Elwyn Jacquos, was shy and reserved. He stood upright and did not speak, for he was too timid. He hoped only for the praise of his mother. Next to Elwyn Jacquos, on Aurelia Natalya's left, stood his father, Avian Zephyr. Next to him was their niece and nephew, Elwyn Alesandra and Elwyn Calsandro. To the right of the high Aurelia, standing next to Elwyn Miraben, was Emresse Janesse, Emresse Tatianya, and Ereso Celestin. Officials and the select Royal Council or Royal Advisory members stood behind the royals. The warriors stood in protective stances on all sides. They were escorted to the gates of the palace, and a messenger was sent to officially announce the House Ancasia's arrival to the House Derose. Aurelia Natalya looked around the unfamiliar planet Drukarus. She had never set foot here before. The ships were left where they landed, but warriors also guarded them, to ensure a safe route to Karal. Really, the House Ancasia could've taken one ship, but they took two instead, due to the rather large entourage. Less efficient, but this alliance was supposed to be a symbol. A symbol of mutual trust, honesty, and respect. The House Ancasia couldn't risk under-stating it. Aurelia Natalya muttered a warning to her sons, the words hidden behind a smile, gritted teeth, and the wind. "Be on your best behavior. This is an alliance." Though they were quiet, her words were still crisp and sharp as the cold. Elwyn Miraben ignored her, so Aurelia Natalya kicked him. It was small, but painful enough for him to notice. He tensed up, fixed his posture, and curtly nodded, the smile wiped off his face entirely. Emresse Janesse lightly cleared her throat and spoke to the Aurelia in a quiet voice. "How long will we stay, Aurelia?" Natalya's face softened. She smiled and turned to Emresse Janesse. "As long as it takes, Emresse. We are welcome here on Drukarus. We must honor them." Emresse Janesse nodded in acknowledgement. Her hair was long and silky. It had slight waves and curled gently near her face. Soon, the messenger returned, and the gates to the palace slowly opened.
-
Certain ships are seen leaving from House Ancasia. Royal ships. One ship is smaller than the others. None are military ships. They split directions. Many of the ships that departed from the planet Karal go in one way, fast and efficient.
