  1. Amyra reached out to the etchings, but drew her hand back as she observed a smokey spren collecting around it. "What is world without hope, what are we without choice," Amyra muttered underneath her breath. What an unfair question. So unfair as it is so true. Words that hold that much truth to them hold far too much power. Even Aerielle had no more sarcastic quips. Even Amyra was speechless.
  2. "Someone wrote this here," Amyra recognized this chasm, all of it seemed very familiar to the other day. "Yes. It must have been Aekelohanar. He was sitting right here moments before Rolen killed him." She read it carefully.
  3. Amyra notices some etching in the chasm, and stops in her tracks. "Well isn't that interesting?"
  4. "Let's head down this way. I think that's the quickest way to the perpendicularity," Amyra tells Wren, beggining to head off in that direction down into the chasms.
  5. "Okay. We should head over to the perpendicularity through the chasms."
  6. Storms. "We need to find Kaa," Amyra whispered to Wren. "I've got a few allies who can help us. But we should go after Kaa. We'll be stronger together. If we can find Ezrium, Kelni, and Sharp, then we could go after Kaa and defeat him. He is a career, but so is my ally, Ezrium..." @shortcake
  7. Amyra immediately shut off her mic and didn't dare breathe another word. That would be the other gamemaker.
  8. "I know, I know. How about this. If someone asks you nicely to flip their switch, then you can do it. But if someone asks you not to flip their switch, don't do it. And don't flip a switch without asking the screen person, okay?"
  9. "I know you want to help, Cassy, but you don't know if all the switches are good. How about this? You help us by not flipping any more switches!" Amyra tried to muster a convincing smile.
  10. Amyra smiled when she heard Cassy's giggle. "Yes... More presents... But you could've hurt the screen people, right? I think it's safest not to flip any more switches," Amyra said, trying her best to explain the situation.
  11. "We don't know what the other switches may do, though, Cassy..." Amyra told him, reminded by the fact that the outcome could've been much, much worse. "Don't flip them, okay?"
  12. "Oh! Is something wrong?" Amyra spun around to Wren, who's leg had been successfully bandaged.
  13. Amyra smiled, almost laughing with relief and happiness. "More than okay, Cassy! You gave me a present! You didn't hurt any of the screen people," She said, with genuine joy as she screwed the lid back on. Bread and a sunflower! Congratulations. Your eyes work. Aerie chimed in.
  14. Amyra smiled slightly. Perhaps... Perhaps this wasn't all too bad. She hesitated for a brief moment before bending down and lifting the metal canister. "See, Cassy? That went well!" She held it there in her hands, debating whether or not she should open it. You've gotten yourself into enough trouble already, Aerie said, always the pessimist. I have, haven't I? Amyra replied. Amyra carefully unscrewed the lid of the canister.
  15. "Don't worry, Cassy. This will be alright. I can handle it myself." Amyra looked up at the parachute. What did she get herself into now?
  16. Amyra's eyes widened. "You flipped my switch?" She took a deep breath, bracing herself. "Okay. That's okay. I'll be fine. Can you try to flip it back?" Wow. Look what you've done now. Aerie grumbled.
  17. Amyra cursed under her breath. She calmed down her voice, to whisper into the mic. "It's okay, Cassy, everything will be okay. Can you try to remember the switch you flipped?"
  18. "CASSY!" Amyra said, raising her voice. She caught herself but her tone was extremely strained, "Please. Please don't flip the switches."
  19. "No. More. Switches." Amyra warned sweetly, but more urgently this time. "You don't like liars, right? Those switches aren't presents," she continued through gritted teeth.
  20. Amyra released the breath she had been holding in. "Okay! Well, that's good! Here's the most important thing: Don't. Switch. Any. More. Switches." She warned him in the least intimidating way possible. "Also, don't let Miss Eddie, Elan, or your dad switch them either, okay?" Okay. The switches presumably don't work on the dead. You're laying all your bets on a kid? Aerie said, skeptical.
  21. "Perfect," Amyra took in a sharp breath, "...Switch that one." How very intelligent of you, Aerie mumbled sarcastically.
  22. "Okay, you're doing great. Do you see a switch with the name Aekelohanar?"
  23. Interesting, Amyra thought, So the dead still have a switch. "Thank you, Cassy, and please don't flick Miss Fen's switch. Are there any other buttons on the panel?" -- Will you stop your chit-chat and get on with it? Aerie grumbled. Shh, Amyra dismissed her. We're on a battleground, Amyra. You can save the sentimental babysitting until later. Amyra didn't bother reply.
