  1. Amyra begins rapping some scrap cloth around Wren's leg, carefully brushing off any sand or other materials that may get it infected. She talks to Cassy as she does this. "Thank you, Cassy. Cassian is a very pretty name too, you know. Now, how many switches are there?" Amyra didn't want to mention that a few of them had died, but it would be useful to see if the switches had any effect on the dead, or if they were eliminated from the panel altogether.
  2. "I really am sorry," Amyra said to Wren, "I could help you bandage it, if you'd like?" "Shh, I know, I know," Amyra said softly, "What do the buttons say?"
  3. Amyra was startled for a moment. "I... Well, we are in a cool desert, aren't we? ... All of us may not be completely okay, but you shouldn't worry about us, Cassy!" Amyra hesitated. "Though... We could use your help."
  4. Amyra bit her lip a little, unsure where to start. "I... We're in a cool desert right now. There are many chasms and plateaus. Oh, and really pretty bright shelters made out of gems! We're... We're all okay. We're doing fine out here! Don't worry about us," she said with a smile, trying to be comforting over her shaky voice. "How old are you, Cassy?"
  5. Amyra spoke back in a sweet, calming voice. "Yes, my name is Amyra. What are you doing on the microphone, Cassy? Are you tired? Have you had enough to eat?"
  6. Amyra felt her breath catch. Her stomach dropped a bit when she heard who's kid he was. She talked very slowly and carefully back into the mic. "Okay, Cassy. Are you alright? Where is your daddy right now?" She was walking on fire. Any wrong step, and she'd be dead. This was the child of a gamemaker.
  7. "Hey, calm down, calm down. It's okay. What did you say your name was?" Amyra whispered into her mic, trying to soothe the boy. "Take a few deep breaths, okay? Who's your dad?"
  8. This is my only time, Amyra thought, I need to take it. Now. Amyra lunged forward and grabbed onto Wren's pocket knife, clutching it tightly before pulling it free from Wren's grasp. The blade of the pocket knife cut into Amyra's palm, but the pain was numbing. She held the pocket knife up, victorious, for no real reason. Perhaps, to show the gamemakers. Then, she hid it in her clothing, alongside her seeds. Yay, we did it! I was doubting your capability there for a second, Aerie teased, in a light and cheery tone. Amyra was too tired for a response. She looked down at Wren's bloody leg, and felt a shock of regret for what she did. She was a Windrunner after all. So she leaned down and offered Wren a hand to help them up. Aa! No! You're helping your oponent? How stupid are you? Aerie said with a sense of urgency. Amyra ignored the spren. "I'm... sorry."
  9. Amyra's eyes widen, and she quickly jumps aside, the knife cutting through her shoulder. The moment of shock was short-lived, before it turned into rage. "Don't... apologize..." Amyra said through gritted teeth, lunging back to strike Wren's ankle with her shardblade. She ignored the pain of her shoulder, but couldn't help noticing the blood soak into the sand as it dripped from her clothes. She really didn't want to do this. She didn't want to kill Wren. She didn't want to kill anyone. Why was she here? Why? She felt her hands tremble on the hilt of her shardblade. I must protect those who cannot protect themselves... Amyra glanced at her shoulder and back at Wren's gleaming pocket knife. Dammit all! She plunged her sword down at Wren's ankle and lower leg.
  10. OH MY GOD ADORABLE AAAAAAAA i love albino snakes and i need photos of nimbus
  11. Amyra locked her eyes on Wren, confident and determined. I will not lose this fight. "I will take your item" She said, a little harsher this time. Ooh! Exciting! Aerielle commented in her head. Don't underestimate them, Amyra reminded her spren. Nah, we got this, Aerie reassured her, casually, as if they weren't about to engage in combat.
  12. Amyra Ay relaxed a little, loosening her grip on the blade. "I-" she paused, realizing that she still had to be on edge. Wren seemed really sweet but... what if it was all a trick? "I need your item," she finally said, with a hint of warning.
  13. oh wow- that's actually so cool!!! are they venemous?
  14. Kill someone! Aerie's voice chimed. No... I won't risk my life for this. They won't freeze us to death. They wouldn't want to kill the tributes like that. They want to watch us kill each other. Now, I need to find Wren and Kaa. Amyra said, thinking out her course of action.
  15. Amyra Ay was woken up by the speakers in the arena. She jumped up and surveyed her surroundings. She was safe. Kaa. I need to find Kaa. I also need to find my allies.
  16. I have an early piano class on Saturday morning to prepare for the music AP...

    Why...

Why must I do this to myself...

My only day of sleeping in.

  17. I like them theory... But if I encounter one, I probably would like them less.
  18. Amyra retreats quickly back, after Aekalohan's limp body fell on the sand. Aw, Aerielle complained, You were too late. It's fine, Amyra snapped, I'll have plenty of time to kill the rest of them.
  19. Amyra Ay played with the string of her pouch of seeds in her pocket. I should've buried it, right? Amyra regretted keeping them on her. Possibly. Just put them in an inner pocket or something, I dunno. Aerie quipped, even though it was a rhetorical question. Amyra searched around her clothes until she found a suitable place. Secret enough, such that the seeds wouldn't be within reach or an easy stab away. Now, she had to focus on her two opponents. She and the other figure, Oradin, were cornering Aekelohanar. She had summoned her shardblade. Blood would spill. Well, at least the gamemakers would be happy.
