  1. Amyra slowly nodded. "Alright," she glanced at Bob, who was far enough away.
  2. Amyra stood there, with her hands on her sword, watching Ninddle. Well, aren't you gonna do something? Aerielle asked. Oh, you shut up. Last time I did that, you grew worried, Aerie said sarcastically. You know you're sentimental at heart, Amyra laughed in her mind. Since when am I the sentimental one? You couldn't even kill the child properly! It was a plan, Amyra reminded her spren. A terribly executed one, Aerie rolled her eyes. When was the last time you came up with something? The last time I saved your life, you mean? Amyra was going to retaliate, but she bit back her tongue, realizing Aerie was right. Maybe I should start listening to you more, Amyra replied. What?! You've officially gone insane. Why would you listen to me? Yeah, you're right, that's actually not a good plan. I'm always right. Right. Right. But I shouldn't listen to you? You should. But you shouldn't admit it. I'm confused. Well, obviously, because-- Well, you just don't get it. You're not making sense, Amyra. Did you expect me to? Amyra said, deciding to let this go. Fair point, Aerie agreed. Amyra smiled, knowing she would've won the argument, and returned her focus to Ninddle.
  3. Amyra immediately turns her body to the side such that the shield flies past her and clatters to the ground behind her. She raised an eyebrow at Ninddle, a small smile playing at her lips. She just holds her shardblade tighter, but that's become more of a stress relief for her than anything else.
  4. Amyra gets into her neutral stance, raising her blade in front of her as she faced Ninddle. She looked him in the eyes, but also made sure to focus on his every moment, ready for any possible tactic or advance.
  5. Amyra builds up momentum in her right arm and slashes her blade horizontally, aiming for Ninddle's unprotected back. So you learned how to fight... when? Aerie asked. I'm good, aren't I? Amyra smiled.
  6. Amyra swung her blade low, attempting to slice underneath the hammer at Ninddle's face or upper body.
  7. Amyra faltered. I need to win. Her eyebrows furrowed, and she regained strength, side stepping his charge while trying to bring her sword down on Ninddle's shoulder.
  8. Amyra, who was already bent over, rolled forward on the ground, protecting her head and moving out of the sword's attack. She jumped up onto her feet and retreated a few steps back, raising her blade in a protective stance. @Lord Spirit
  9. Amyra hesitated for a split-second. Go! What are you doing? GO! Aerie urged, I'm gonna die of old age waiting for you to hurt this guy. Amyra shook her head, but took a breath and advanced, moving forward to attack Ninddle. She took her shardblade and aimed low, trying to cut at Ninddle's legs. @Lord Spirit
  10. Amyra quickly scuttled back a few steps and got into a defensive stance, after having miscalculated her sword's parry. She moved forward again, realizing Ninddle's weakness, this time raising her blade in attack. She swung down, but last-minute made the choice to slide her blade to the ground and underneath the shield, slicing at Ninddle's side. Not too bad, huh? Amyra said to Aerie. We'll see about that, Aerie muttered. @Lord Spirit
  11. Amyra dodged the kick, quickly moving to the side of Ninddle, and parried her sword upwards to his upper back. @Lord Spirit
  12. Amyra, behind you! Aerie's voice screamed. Amyra's eyes widened as she turned around and quickly ducked out of the way, gripping her shardblade (it was already summoned- check earlier posts) and swinging it around with her right hand to slice Ninddle's torso. (Her right arm healed after her time in the hut, using the stormlight there) @Lord Spirit
  13. You can't hide forever, Aerie reminded Amyra. She was in a terrible state, cold and half-starved. I know, Amyra said miserably. Her pin had fallen off. She was no longer safe from the animals. She decided to eat more of the bread she had been gifted, and drank her collected rainwater from the ditch in the hut. She wasn't invincible. No one ever truly was. But with only six players left in the arena, she realized just how close she was to death. Or glory. Victory. Honor. Praise. But that vision... It kept flashing before her eyes. It wouldn't disappear. It wouldn't leave her alone. All of a sudden, the arena began shrinking. She jumped up and ran onto the open plains. There was no escape. She would have to fight to the death, now. No hiding. Amyra, Aerie said, sensing her hear rate go up, Amyra, I know you'll win. Amyra nodded and smiled, I know. Amyra, Aerie added, Amyra, I love you. I love you too, Aerie, Amyra said to her spren, summoning her shardblade in her left hand. She scanned the arena. Everyone was far enough, but that could change within moments.
