I know, I know. This has been done before. I'm sure of it. I just can't find one of them! So here we go. I was randomly reading a Taravangian interlude, and realized I was imagining Erick Avari's voice for Taravangian. He plays Nicodemus in The Chosen and other things I'm sure, but I don't know what they are. I feel like he's a good enough actor, and I feel like he could pull off Taravangian's evil craftiness, even though he plays a completely different type of character in The Chosen. Also Gal Gadot as Jasnah, I think. (apparently me as Sazed as well) Tom Hiddleston as Wit, and it sounds crazy(to me it did then I realized it could work), but Elijah Wood as Szeth! My ideas. EDIT I wonder, whenever they do the SA tv show, how will Kaladin's brands work? How disfiguring will they be, and will the be makeup or CG?

*stupid question alert* Okay, so in Words of Radiance, Kaladin, after fighting Szeth the first time, falls unconscious randomly. Why? Also in Rhythm of War, he falls unconscious after the fight at the well. Why?

What is known about Kaladin's backstory?

He did tell Shallan about some of his past, but not Tien, which was a MAJOR factor in modeling who he is. Good point about Adolin. I want to see that scene, where Kaladin tells him about plotting to kill his cousin. And I'm very curious what his parents know! I doubt they know much because Kaladin wants to spare them from knowing about his pain. Also Lirin mentions something about Laral expecting the Mink to be a warrior "forged on the same anvil as Dalinar Kholin and Meridas Amaram". Mentioning Amaram in a vaguely positive way wouldn't seem to fit if he knows what Amaram did to Kal. -
I was wondering. So we know that in Urithiru Kaladin is extremely famous, and is a war hero. And he has slave brands, so obviously he was a slave. What I want to know is what is common knowledge about his life, and what's not. Typing this it seems clear just that everyone knows that he was a bridgeman and a slave, but if anyone has any evidence to the contrary, please do tell! Also, what do Shallan, Adolin, Dalinar etc. know about his past?

Yeah. It's fun. I've made a glass house with water pouring down around it. (in Creative Mode.) I have not. Kaladin. Probably Stormlight/Loki/RotK/Stormlight again, I guess/the Book of Mormon. Baker's chocolate. Or durian candy. Squirrels! Orange! (Sorry Eli.) I don't know, how many? Or is it 17? 19 or 92. Or 29. Uh... to learn to be kind and to be tested. And behold it came to pass that verily verily I say unto you, yea! No. Not too many. Too many. And that's like... I don't know... No. Stupid question. Obviously it's purple. Because they forgot about you. Maybe, I don't know. Grind 'em up with a mortar and pestle. Sure? I mean, he's not bad looking. Pretty good. You should regulate the water temperature and feed them. Just kidding, I know nothing about fish. Um... It was just this one time, Bob. Sure. When they're thin and crunchy and not gigantic. Oh, sorry, that was me. It's less hard when you see it spelled. I figured it out when it wasn't spelled. Which might be why it's my favorite. Also: A plane crashes on the border of the United States and Canada. Where do you bury the survivors?

They're so pretty. Um... garter snakes. They aren't scary. Angler fish! They're creepy and cool. Dolphins. They're fun. Cats. Yes, it's pretty good. Um... Dixit. It's a fun game, look it up. Minecraft. Basically the only one I play. Tolkien! It's been a while though. Um... Lord of the Rings, probably. Squirrel! Uh, I don't know... I don't know. There are some pretty cool ones though... Life science, I think, Will Kaladin find love? Kaladin. Although that would be sad that he's the only one to survive again. Eh, he's not horribly fond of Jasnah or Wit. It's fine. Well, Wit is important to the Cosmere... maybe Wit. Or Jasnah. I don't know. One dark knight, a king and a queen and a cat and a dog go on a ship. A sunny day defies the approaching darkness.
She comes.
I watch from the window,
Gigantic wings beat the air.
Her head is adorned with dark horns
that curl in a deadly arc.
Her sword gleams in the fading light.
Clad in pink and black,
Murderous intent written on her face,
She is Star.
The nearby lamppost glows.
Brighter
And brighter.
The light forms into a figure,
Who holds herself like someone
Used to the people’s bows.
A simple golden circlet affirms this.
She wears a blue robe, accented by gold.
She holds an open book.
The pages blow in the wind,
Obscuring any information
I’d hope to glean.
A mocking smile on her face,
Secrets in her hand,
She is Lunamor.
I have no name.
My face is forgettable.
And yet they bow to me;
I am not one to be crossed.
A crow nests
in my bland brown hair.
I set down the small sweet succulent
I hold in my hands,
And rest my hand on the window.
The two stand there, waiting.
“I believe you know why I've gathered you here.”
My tone is flat.
Monotone.
Star glares.
“I don’t, and I’m NOT happy about it.”
Lunamor is less blunt.
“I too, had to abandon things I loved
to be here.”
She is annoyed,
Beneath her calm mask.
My hand passes through the open window.
I appear next to them.
“There is a purpose.”
“Which is?”
Star spits.
I turn towards her.
“Follow me, and you will know.”
Between one heartbeat and the next,
I am blown into the wind.
Lunamor shifts into
blue particles and drifts away
gracefully
on the wind.
Star glares for a moment,
Thinking of the fact
she could just leave.
But she decides to follow,
And glitches out of sight
Leaving no trace of anything
that happened on this
dark,
dark,
night.
I didn't write all of it, but I wrote a lot of it and just let myself be as cheesy and dramatic as I wanted. 'Twas fun.
