    So here's the thing.

    I want to read The Lost Metal because of the Cosmerey-ness. I read AoL and SoS(Shadows of Self, not Shadows for Silence)

    But I know BoM has some stuff I'm not really comfortable reading in it. I want to read the book! I just... don't feel comfortable doing it. Same with Warbreaker.

      For BoM, there are like three questionable (we'll use that word now) scenes you'd want to skip more than anything. One is less, um, interesting than the others per se.

      I think in BoM and TLM, there's more crass humor, especially from Wayne. That's what I'm hearing at least. I'm still unsure how questionable Warbreaker is, but from what I've gathered, it's not quite as questionable as I'd first assumed. IIRC, the worst it has would be:

      A "fade to black" scene, several mentions of nudity, one very VERY questionable scene, and a little bit of discussion outside of those scenes. There's also violence, but that's kind of a given with Brandon Sanderson. If anyone remembers anything else, please add to this.

    Oh that's amazing! I mean, that sounds weird, but I have been doing a little bit of lurking and I read your conversations with everyone else on the Bad News thread. And you finally let it all out. I'm really, really happy for you!!! And I'm trying to figure out how to phrase this without it sounding like, "YAY SADNESS AND PAIN". Stupid words are hard.

    I ended up being cast as Annette and Adult Ensemble in Annie. It's... honestly a bit of a let-down, especially after everyone at school's comments that I'm gonna get a larger part. 

    But, I'm still excited, and I know I'll have fun. It's just... really sad for now.

    Mixed feelings.

      Very understandable. Still think that you deserve a bit of a bigger role. You're an amazing singer and actress. But I know that you'll do amazing as Annette, and I'm so excited to be doing this with you!! We're in the same ensemble!! ;) yay!! This is going to be an awesome couple of months haha we're going to have so much fun together!! ;);):) :lol::wub:B):D:P You're going to have to help me with the choreography hahahaha that was a struggle!!!

      I get that. Ensemble is exhausting, especially when you’re hoping for a better part. Just remember the cookie and brownie analogy: if you need cookies, you’re gonna buy cookies, even if the brownies look amazing. Directors are looking for something specific, so even though I’m sure you’re awesome, they might be looking for something different, and that’s ok! It doesn’t mean you aren’t talented, but it is annoying.

    I've been in the process of auditioning for the school musical(Annie). I was really excited, except callbacks were announced, and since I'm on the older side among the other auditioners(is that a word?), I thought I'd be considered for some of the lead roles, especially considering that other people thought that I might too... but it seems like I haven't been. They had me read and sing for the orphans; not as much as other people. So I don't think I'm getting any very big roles. I'll probably get one of the orphans. I feel stupid because I did this exact same thing last time. I thought I was going to be LeFou, but I ended up being a Silly Girl, and was disappointed. I had a blast anyway, though. But I'm really disappointed now. And I thought that they gave me a smaller role last time because of my age. But here I am, again. The cast list hasn't been announced yet, though. Maybe I'll still get a larger role. But they had all the considered orphans leave callbacks early, along with me. And most of them were younger than me. Stupid emotions don't make sense.
