  1. That's a great idea! I love music, so I will definitely try that.
  2. Does anyone have any ideas for something I could write a little bit about? Some prompts would make good practice.
  3. Fortunately, the type of radiant the radiant was gave them the surge of transportation.
  4. We don't know what happens if a cognitive shadow dies, but my guess is that it either goes immediately to the beyond, or fades out like a normal person. The returned aren't really themselves, but investiture imitating that person and remembering them. (I think) When a returned give up their divine breath, they are no longer invested, and so die. My guess is that returned, at least, go directly to the beyond. I think the divine breath is separate from the spirit web, but I could be wrong.
  5. So I saw The Bookwyrm do this, and I thought I'd try something similar. This is just something I wrote yesterday. I'm not very good yet, but practice is important. Feedback and criticism are appreciated. (Yes I know I love commas too much) Also, can anyone help me with formatting these sorts of things? I will also post other writing things here if I feel like it. Anyway, here it is.
  6. I don't know necessarily, but it probably messes with the bind points if you embed the spike fully.
  7. When your mom is talking about the heart of the watermelon, so you imagine a giant watermelon with a huge gemheart getting killed by a shardbearer to harvest it's heart.
  8. Yeah. Thanks for the clarification. There are always one or two fine details I forget when it comes to magic systems.
  9. I mean if it was plausible enough I think you could create a soulstamp for yourself that would just make your soul think you had read all of the books so... This is my 100th post!
  10. Nope, not now, never has. Have you read The Lord of The Rings?
  11. I agree with this. Then you would need to create a different stamp for like every book. That would be a real pain.
  12. So I was just thinking that Nale's madness effectively limits him to the fourth stage of Kohlberg's stages of moral development. The stage is basically that a person has loyalty to law and order, and that is how they determine the difference between right and wrong. He follows the letter of the law, and not the spirit. Are there other parallels to the other heralds, or other interesting things about the madness they have?
  13. Oh no! That's really sad. If I was a meaner person I would call that disgraceful.
