Rice pilaf looks good. Very similar to some rice concotion my family has with fish sometimes, or well, used to.

I don’t think there’s a definitive point at which life starts making sense. It’s more of a gradual thing that builds up and up and up. Journey before destination, y’know?

I think even the oldest and wisest are confused. As EmLee said, Journey before Destination - life may never make "sense," but it does make joy - with the occasional sprinklings of pain, sorrow and fear. But ya know? Keep smiling - the world is a whole lot brighter for it!

There's always something in life that's going to be confusing, but sometimes it does feel like life itself is kind of crumbling. When that happens, I think it helps to just spend time with other people, or doing something you enjoy. It can be hard to do that with school and all that, but sometimes it helps.

I don't know. Maybe I'm not really one to give advice on this, since I'm struggling a lot myself right now.

As for the smiling thing, I think it's mostly cool, but if you're really feeling terrible and you're saying that you're fine when you're not, that makes it more harmful. It's always good to share.
