    The city. A bastion of civilization. A collective of people shutting nature out. Antithetical to everything Lysan believed. And here she was, on a road, no less. And when she got there? Navigating crowds and dodging tourists. And to think that all of this work would probably be for naught.

    I think yes, if they could actually hear the tone. If there was some Investure for it to resonate with, then the Awakener could hear the tone in a manner similar to how Navani first heard Honor's tone. I think that perfect pitch would grant recognition of a pure tone once heard. Maybe not as "The pure tone of [Shard]", but as something recognizable.

    Can I just say how glad I am for the informal nature of these weird forums? On most websites, you would have to jump through all kinds of hoops to rant about forum culture in a popular subforum. Here, you can just post whatever and have it snowball into a weird chat thing!

    Here's my bio! Name: Lysan Grovewater (Female) Magic: A Lifecrafter from the Earth Tribe. Her Talent is creating armor and weapons out of plants (For reference, see D&D 5e spells Barkskin and Thorn Whip). She also uses the other forms of Life magic, but she's not as good at them. Background: As an Earth Tribe member, she struggled with Earth magic and just didn't seem to get it. When tragedy struck her village, forcing her to flee, she blamed herself for the downfall of her home. In the wilds, she discovered her affinity for Life magic. She now lives in the wilds outside of the city. Personality: Think slightly more mellow Kaladin. Quirks: She's vegetarian. She isn't too fond of the City, but she goes there occasionally.
